We’re paying the equivalent of $2.86 here and that’s considered cheap! Lol. I’m. Loving it. We were sitting around $3.85 for a while. They project our prices will be close to that again in the spring for gas switch over from winter to summer gas

Swapped out the stock grill for aftermarket, removed the extremely boring and dented ST front bumper. Just finished reinstalling brackets on the new bumper with fog lights. I'll take more pics when I get ot on tomorrow in daylight.View attachment 151442

Got the new bumper put on and as luck would have it, the mounting brackets are bent down about half an inch. I'll end up removing it to repair or replace them. Haven't decided yet on going back with the original filler panel or adding lights or something else. Any ideas?

Swapped out my 18 Laramie LED tails for Sport/Limited LED tails without the chrome border. Much better on a black truck!
(Accidentally deleted the before picture but found a similar one)

Something I've always wondered about that process and never seen mentioned. Does the etched image show in the light beam? i.e. In your case, will those actually project cross-hairs onto whatever the lights illuminate?

No it doesn't projector t the image. Might be cool if it did. Not sure why it doesn't to be honest. I think it's because it's etched on the back if the lens not the front. Doesn't effect the light output either.

it's because you have too much light bouncing around the lens. It can't focus the light tight enough on the etching to cast the image.

I finally got around to replacing the driver’s side seat cushion & cover on the heated & cooled leather seats I installed a little while ago.

I watched a couple videos on YouTube and this is the one I found to be the most helpful as far as disassembly of the seat and removal of the cover goes.


For whatever reason, I didn’t take a side photo of the seat before the install. The left side of the seat cushion was permanently smashed down and had a long tear in it and a shallow cut towards the seat back. The center of the cushion was very worn out; I didn’t realize just how worn out the old cushion actually was until I sat on the new one.

(I had to lower my seat because I was sitting up too high)

It wasn’t a bad install, just a little more time consuming since I’ve never done anything like this before.

I bought the cushion & cover from Richmond Auto Upholstery via eBay. In my opinion, they’re a great company with excellent communication & customer service that makes a high quality product.
