What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?

Dude... no effing way am I going to sink half my home's mortgage note into anything that depreciates over time - doubly so for special 'one-off' styles/trims.

I'm quite sure my $22k used 1500 SLT farm truck will still run just as well (and carry just as much, and be just as comfortable) as his $120k ***** ornament... and might even have the same resale value at year 10 (or mile 150k), come to think of it

Lol yes its quite unreasonable. But if I could afford it..Lol. Only makes me wonder what other cars he has or how big the house is!

Gave er her spring bath. Albeit not a really thorough one as it’s 40 F outside but got rid of the salt on carpets, cleaned the mats and washed the outside [emoji12]

I choose the husky liners. Minimal contact with body (look up stock paint damage). Protective film and double sided tape. They are not as square and ugly as weather tech [emoji106]. Also, I painted them using duplicolor paint and adhesion spray held up alright so far

So far this week I hauled off a load of trash to the dump and a load of scrap metal to the recyclers.
Next is letting the wife drive it to work tomorrow. It’ll be the first time she’s ever driven my truck. I’m really really nervous about it too.
Her car is a RAV4...

Depends how far work is? My wife has a 40 mile each way commute.
She drives a CRV, she does pretty good in the truck tho, but... i dont have a 2500!

Few days of driving... its still very much ass in air. I think at least half a coil, maybe another full coil. Don't want to take too much off.



Any suggestions on rear shocks? If I do take another coil out, I'd be at a point where full extension (Although EXTREMELY unlikely given that I never take it off-road) could result in a spring popping out of place with the original length shocks.

Ram is testing the trx 700hp monster this to has eight lug rear and six like front. That rear must be torqued out.

I saw that article but the pictures led me to not believe this is a TRX..just looks like a 5th gen with a couple mods, no?

Found time to address the grille project. For now its Matt black. Want to see how that looks . The plan was to paint to match but just had to try this too.


This was the the initial fit. It needed a lot of fitting too.


Still going to fit these in behind it.
