I feel the house pains. Trying to finish mine, get my girl through school and get into a new home within a year or so. Bleh! The house is slowly coming along. The garage floor was done, my shelves were made and painted. House is slowly getting furnished.
Too early to tell performance differences. I didn’t get them finished up till late last night. Only drove it for a couple miles last night. I used to have two bounces over a certain dip in the road, now there’s just one haha! $2500 for one less bounce!
I figured the alignment would be way off with the different coil overs and the new control arms. Still drove and tracked straight.
Will get the alignment done today just to double check ever.

I'm sure there will be minor differences on road, but those bad boys will really shine in the dirt. You guys and your 2.5s give me shock envy.

I haven't put anything (in 3 years) nor will I ever put anything on a credit card again. I do have the cash to go full Monty if I want......but I'd have to find parking lot jumps to test them because NJ is a concrete jungle!Put your hands in the air where we can see them and away from your credit card!!!
It is over the years at the shop and the hundreds I have installed many were like that. The tolerance is very tight on them and will wear in also when the are built they have grease put in them but dont really get moved around to spread it throughout the joint because once they are in use and begin articulating they will spread and the grease will begin to lubricate. So what did you do with the old coilovers? HahaQuestion regarding tie rod ends: I bought new Moog ends, but I haven’t put them on yet. I wanted to replace them since one of the boots tore pounding on it with a pickle fork. And they were both really wedged in the fork once they did separate. So I’m sure I probably compromised the strength of them.
So here’s the question! The Moog tie rod ends are very stiff!! One of them I couldn’t get it to move by hand or by putting it on a 2x4 and pushing down on it with all my might! The other one moved a little, but not much.
This doesn’t seem normal to me. Is it???
I have to agree , if its not asphalt or concrete you are on you are about to be ticketed .I haven't put anything (in 3 years) nor will I ever put anything on a credit card again. Congrats dude, i like the BJ angle on those JBA's and i'm thinking i'd want a new UCA pair to use all that travel with my Kings. Maybe if i can get a deal for labor day...
Mike, did you do any pre-load adjustment to your 2.0s and if not, was the lift height the same left to right? I'm seeing .625" lower fender height on the driver side. Mine have only been on for a few weeks, so they still need to settle in.Thanks for the input!
I plan on selling the Fox 2.0 coilovers. They only have about 15-20k miles on them I believe. I’ll have to go back and check when I installed them.
