OK. So here's the problem. I have a 2014 RAM 2500 tradesman 4X4 with the 6.4 hemi and automatic transmission. I have the manual shift lever in the floor. I put it in 4H and nothing. 4L and nothing. The transfer case shifts in the mode, but my front end isn't engaging. Local dealership had it for almost a year and made a mess of it. I'm wondering if they disconnected something or didn't hook a wire back up. Any ideas on where to start looking. No 4 wheel drive indication on the dash either.

I checked the linkage. It's all good. Can even feel it inside the transfer case moving. I have no power or anything at the electric box on the front differential. And I don't see a fuse in the listing. But then again, my horn isn't working and the fuse in it is good also. Don't see a relay for it either in the book.

If you are not getting power at the front diff, it probably isn't engaging the front axle which should be engaged in 4H and 4L. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is make sure that all the connectors at the bottom of the PDC(fuse box) are pushed in tight.

What items did the dealership work on? Could give as an idea on what they possibly disturbed. Any chance you have access to AlfaOBD? Would be nice to see what faults are set in individual modules.

They replaced the computer 3 times. Because they fried it twice. And the wiring harness was melted and they spliced it all back together like a pre-schoolers. And the fuse box was replaced. Which I've been having trouble with. But there is no fuse for the 4 wheel drive. And no relay for it either. I was told look for K19 relay. But there is no place for a K19. Lol.

Well, that's not very promising. I would pretty well start checking all the wiring. As simple check, I would pull the PDC (fuse box) and make sure all the connectors are fully seated.

Take a look at the drive-train control modules, not sure where it's located but below are the pinouts for the connectors. Use that to check to see if you are at least get power in and out of the DTCM.

This one might be useful too but have no idea where to look for it. Hopefully this at least gives you some sort of start to figure out the electrical issues.

Do you know of anyone that has AlfaODB or something similar handy? Getting the error codes out of the individual modules would be a good starting point, too. The modules can have errors set/stored but won't trigger a CEL.
