Even though I’m not supposed to be doing any strenuous labor (had surgery recently), I slowly dove into doing my control arms today. Got the tops done easily, driver side lower ball joint is not releasing from the spindle currently so that’ll be fun to deal with later.

Where'd you get the "REBEL" inserts? I'm looking to put some carbon fiber on the front RAM emblem on my Rebel.

Looks great, btw.
Thanks! Look up reflective concepts on Amazon. Mine were from them and they makes one for the front ram, I just haven’t decided if I want carbon fiber or the color matched decal for it yet lol. But that rebel decal insert is very nice quality.

Package arrived today.

Have had the front ones for over a year, and very happy with the quality. Back ones seem a bit thinner and not as pliable. Have others found that as well? I'm wondering if its because they figure the backs won't be as used.

Husky tough...... but I think 2 bulldogs have something to say about that. :waytogo:

Thanks, I did see those. Lots of color choices too!

I was thinking carbon fiber would be a bit of a nod to the TRX. I can only dream of owning one.

20210114_092323.jpg Replaced the heater core and hoses.

For the first time since I've owned the truck I have HEAT!

Pic is of old core, didn't look bad so I caught it in time, strong smell of antifreeze when heat was on. That black stuff on the lower pipe is insulation that had melted onto the pipe.
My only regret is not getting this done this past summer!

Well damn didn’t realize they had their own website lol. Just happened across them on Amazon. Yea I think the carbon fiber would look cool, I was just considering the color matched cause I’m thinking about color matching my skid plate on the front. I’d love a trx lol maybe in a few years when the price comes down.

So speaking of decals...
I found these that are listed for 2019 to 2021 ram grill. Options are standard or Rebel.

My question is are the grille letters that different that these wouldn’t fit my 2016 Rebel grill?

Swapped out my beat up steering wheel for nice clean one.

Feels much better where the leather isn't all cracked. Also got it off a Laramie so it looks a lot nicer with the silver trim

And I have 2 extra buttons lol. I was going to swap in my old switch, but they looked worse than the one in the new wheel..

I wish I could program them to do something else.

Replaced my stick on vent visors for a set of in channel ones. Spent all afternoon getting old ones off. First they were super brittle and broke with any pressure. Then trying to get off that adhesive tape. Man that sucked. I thought dealer where I got truck put them on but I am guessing original owner back in 2012.

Ah well much cleaner looking with in channel on a white truck. So worth the aggravation to swap.
