I just finished looking online and saw this ...Wow, i would have though it would be a lot more than that.
****** tight!Does anybody know what the bolts for all seats are supposed to be torqued to?
That’s good info because I might be removing the seat belt bolt on the B pillar but right now I’m asking about the bolts holding the seat to the floor.I just finished looking online and saw this ...
I’m definitely reusing them but I was planning on putting blue loc-tite on them rather than antiseezeMine had red locktite on the floor bolts. They felt a lot tighter that 30 pounds getting them out. I ran a tap through holes and the bolts through a die before putting them back in and used antisieze on them. I know you're not supposed to re-use them, but heck with that.
So I just saw this again on a cummins site about a 4th gen truck, And that is for the front seats. When taking the bolts out it seems a lot more than that but that could be because of the red loc-tite that they put on them. It then said 63 for the rear seats. Wonder why there are so much more.30 for the rear and 21 for the front ones
