JJ did it again, tinted tails

Alright so obviously from the title, I finally got my tinted tails on my truck and all I can say really is





Two out of three for comparison

nice, I just spoke to him today for mine, everyone LOVES my headlights, then ask, "why didnt you do your tails?" LOL...so..............on order!

You go medium? How is light during the day, still pretty good?

Yea I felt the same way pretty much about mine after I got the headlights but no one else said anything...probably because once you get me started on my truck, I never shut up, lol.

Yea I went medium and the light output still looks pretty good. I'll run around for awhile with the stock bulbs in and if I feel it necessary, which I might just because, I'll throw in an LED bulb eventually.

Lol, I've been really tempted to after joining this forum and seeing Madcow's old red truck and Musclemckeester truck. But...I dunno...maybe if sometime soon I pull the trigger on a light bar, then I'll have to keep my bumper lol

That how I started out. Saw someone with a sunburst orange paint his himself then I eventually found Retro Shop and now I'm doing it. And once you start, you don't want to stop till your done and happy.

Can you clearly see just the taillights when they are on during the day?

Look at the last 3 pictures i posted, you can see a decent amount of light from all three lights. I'm also not that worried about it because although you can't really see it in the pictures, I do have a LED tailgate light bar which is fairly bright so people will know when I am stopping.

I was referring to the marker light level of brightness, if that was still visible. I would like to do a tint on them, but making sure i am always visible is important.
