Canadian problem only ? Melting glow plugs
You have an intake grid heater that you wait to come on when air temp is IIRC around 65 degrees, it heats the incoming air to aid starting... Also the grid heater its not above cylinder #6... What I think your talking about is a bolt used on the grid heater that can sometimes fail do to a faulty...- 06 Dodge

Synthetic Oil
The last time I looked at Rotella T-6 5w40 it was still API rated SM for gas engines, until 2010 I used it in all my Mopar gas engines that used 5w oil... Its not hard to figure out by miles traveled if you use a low to mid mpg number, heck I drove a truck for 2 years without a fuel gauge and I never once ran out of fuel..- 06 Dodge

CP4 recall. New sound
Don't recall the proper wording but the pump should have been timed when it was installed to help reduce the pulsating type knocking noise you are hearing. Here is an older post about it on Cummins Forum from 2017 that I think may apply to you...- 06 Dodge
