    Pretty tight budget, pretty happy with the cheap Pioneer TS-A6966R pair I installed, gonna put a slim sub in behind the seat too, plus I don't really listen to bassy music, so it's not a huge deal.

    Hey, just wanted to update this, I'm an idiot, the speakers in the doors are 6x9's, I got them back in October (I think?). I bought a pair of Kicker DS5x7's / 6x8's off craiglist and they where too small, so I sold 'em for a bit more than I paid and got some new Pioneer 6x9's. Video of it here...

    So where'd you get the nicer gauge faces? I really like that volt gauge having numbers. Is that a thing on later trucks, or is it aftermarket? My temperature, oil pressure, and voltmeter look nothing like those.

    So I noticed someone had crunched the fuel line feeding into the carburetor, I've seen this with one other vehicle I owned, a 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88. Not sure how or why it happened on the Dodge, but I guess on the Olds they where trying to replace the fuel filter built into the Q-jet...

    Is this the Lucas oil y'all recommend? Lucas Oil Products 10076 - Motor Oil | O'Reilly Auto Parts Or is it another kind? It's a bit more expensive than the Shell I normally buy, but hey, if it works it works.

    Yeah, that's what I've been hoping would happen, I'm just trying to limp the engine along until I find a reasonable replacement for it. I want to swap in a 360, nothing fancy, not even going for headers, just pre-SMOG manifolds and a stock or used aftermarket intake (I'm cheap). Nice driveway...

    Yeah, I've thought about cutting them out, only got a dremel though. Might be a tad difficult. I don't really care about having a subwoofer in a truck, seems a bit much for such a confined space, if anything I'd just put some 6x9's behind the seats for a bit of fill.
