I had to replace the master control switch on the drivers side. Thats what was causing it. Sorry if i created any confusion.
I did get it to work several times for a short bit by messing with the plug but it would eventually stop working again, so replacing it was less work.

I used that "wipe new" product on my daughters 04 neon and even though it took two applications the plastic looks brand new now. Just dont let it get wet for 24 hours or it will spot up.
I keep the plastic on my ram coated with turtle wax ice and it still looks as good as new.
