$550 seems doable. I’m wondering…I see all 5hese guys having hemi motor mount bolts breaking and all these guys having manifold bolts breaking…why isn’t there a class action lawsuit for these issues?
Turns out it is the exhaust. Broken bolts on the manifolds. My mechanic says he doesn’t do those jobs anymore. He is retiring soon so I need to find another. I have watched several you tubes on how to do it but I’m not confident that I can do it. Anyway thanks for the replies.
Thanks allot for that. It has been driven about 8 miles with the tick. If I decide to fix it I’ll have it towed in. If the cam isn’t damaged I guess I should replace all the lifters.
My 2013 hemi has the hemi tick. Pretty sure it’s a lifter. I’ve read a lot of threads about this issue and it sounds like the cam will also need to be replaced. I don’t have the tools or knowledge to perform this work myself. Does anyone have an idea of what this might cost at a garage? Also...
Thought I had posted this yesterday but it seems to have dissapeared. I hate when I read a thread like this and the person who started thread never comes back and tells what the solution was. So... I finally took it to my machanic and told him everything I had done. 2 hours later he called and...
Well..This is little embarassing... I finally broke down and took it to my machanic. As I stated before I had taken the leeds and the fuses off of the +battery post and cleaned them. Then things improved but the steering still ****** at full stop right or left. I cleaned them using baking soda...
After further testing. When I am sitting still and turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, as soon as I hit the stopping point the steering wheel jerks hard in the other dirction. Any thoughts?
So there are 2 fuses. One is 120AMP and the 180AMP. I suspected the 120AMP so I bypassed it and the power steering alarm light didn't come on again. So I cleaned all the terminals (thanks 04fxdwgi !) I took it for a drive and it was okay for the most part. Now when I slow way down 2 or 3 MPH and...
Hi Everybody. I have 2013 Dodge Ram with the Hemi. I was in the driveway this morning and my power steering went out. I read somewhere that the PS fuse is locaed on the possitive battery terminal. It looks like I have 2 fuses there. Can anyone tell me which (if either) is the Power Steering...
Yes it is the hinge. It goes inside the tailgate at the bottom, it goes all they way across. The tailgate pivots on this rod. I do not have a picture though.
I have been having a problem with the tailgate on my 2013 Ram 1500 tradesman. It started moving to the left when looking from the back of the truck and became hard to open. I found that the bushing on the lower right of the tailgate rod was becoming worn. I replaced it and all was well. Now it...
So I took it to the dealership and got it fixed. I was shocked that it was paid for by my extended warranty which I didn't know I had. I didn't ask for any details on the warranty as I didn't want to screw up a good thing :). The truck is a 2013 with 85K on it. They replaced both manifolds, did...
Well...I guess they are not the right agency after all. Heading over to EPA site to see if they take complaints/comments etc... I'll update the post when I get more info.
The EPA's Office of Transportation and Air Quality is responsible for ensuring that motor vehicles comply with the federal...
