Your push button will send power to a relay. The relay pulls in and contacts the lights (or other device) and sends a seprate, fused source of power to your device
yes, Use Aplha OBD or a similar coder to Turn on those options if its factory. If its aftermarket and youre just using the buttons for on/off power you will need a relay box so you dont overload the switch.

Those are the bolts I used for my headers.
You may want to have a low profile cut off wheel or equivalent. If you see my thread on my project you will see I had to mutilate my old headers to get it off the broken stud. Strangest experience of my life. haha My buddy came through with a Dewalt...

I use those little metal hoops with the rubber for everything, the pipe fitters leave them laying all over the shop. I now have plethora of sizes in my garage. :33:
