    I agree smoke test it first using a professional test machine. I posted this for another person. The tubes off the valve covers were cracked on mine.

    I experienced this 6 years ago. First time.. A defective PCV. swapped it out it was fine. Second: drivers side exhaust manifold bolt broke off. Soaked them all with wd40 for a day. Replaced the broken one (closest to the firewall) and torques the rest. Retorque all. As required

    You may have. Thanks. However, I know its the lifter. TIcking on drivers side. Ive heard that PVC valve ticking before. Auto parts store will swap out that issue.

    Ticking

    Engine ticking first 3 min or so on startup. Sounds like #7or5. My theory is valve lifters have lost tension in their springs. How close is my theory? Othe than that I get a P0456 I have to clear often.
