Any 2015 Ram info? Will R/T be available ?

The R/T isn't a separate model on the Ramtrucks site, it's the regular cab Sport 4x2 model. It's not listed separately but if you click on the what's included when you build out the RC there's a R/T badge in the list. I haven't seen anything about the 2015 1500s or even the 2500/3500 and you...

    2015 speculations ?

Those refer to when fleet orders can be transmitted, they usually start and end earlier than 'regular' customer orders. The fleet orders for 1500s ended June 9 while there will be a short July order window for customer orders to complete the run in August.

    The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread

I did, went with a EcoDiesel 1500 for the mileage. Was torn since I found a '13 Cummins 2500 in Va for 43k.

Nice looking truck until I get to the fuelly tag at the bottom, tried to convince myself I should go 2500 instead but the 90 miles a day would kill my wallet. If they made a MegaCab Outdoorsman it would have been an even harder decision and prob ended up with a 2500.

    3.0 ecodiesel

Rotella does not currently meet the low ash and Ram specs for the EcoDiesel. They need a 3 year test cycle to be approved by FCA as a replacement oil. I think the factory Pennzoil is the only one 'approved' so far, others are believed to met the specs but are not approved by FCA yet.

Distance is the reason I'm considering the Cummins, well that and the resale around here and a discounted 2013. Rarely seen any HDs with anything but the diesel

2014 Ram 1500 Air Suspension Overview

The two I've testdrove didn't alternate, they went up from park mode first at the rear and then the front to keep the headlights from shining too far forward and up. If you went through multiple heights it alternated but that was because it went, for example from park, to normal to off road 1...

New Challenger Hellcat paving the way for an SRT RAM????

The SRT 300 is done now, the only none Dodge SRT product will be the Grand Cherokee. Well and the Viper in Europe, was always sold as a Chrysler over there and I would assume that would continue with its launch there this summer. It was planned to be launched for European sales at leMans this...

    Turn knob tranny selector BEWARE

My vote for worst thread ever, should be titled "Those who don't think or look are doomed for pain." You can't be bothered to verify what you are touching and then warn us to watch out?? That's called LAZINESS, I know how many clicks it is to pop the transmissions in all the work trucks into...

    Dealership Rip Off For Mods!

Copied from BFG's own page 38941 LT325/60R20/E 126 S $628 I'd say Tire Rack has their usual decent price compared to the MSRP.

What's the deal with the Outdoorsman Transfer Cases?

It is the same internals with an additional servo that senses slip at the rear and automatically selects the 4w high position. The part-time (non-auto, 4 position) case is the Borg 44-45 and the on-demand (auto, 5 position) case is Borg 44-44. Surprisingly little has been published about...

    Broke my RamBox Help!?!

It's $330 for the 2500 part, on a 1500 you can get the 5'7 bed so that may have been the 5'7 bed part

    Nitrogen vs Air In Tires

It's more important with low-profile stickier tires, they build more heat and the pressures have wider swings. Pure nitrogen is much easier to know what will happen to the pressures as you push them to their limits. Most Discount Tires have begun stocking nitrogen, and 200 bucks seems crazy...

    OEM Running Boards

Nice, looks like Mopar has a full store on Amazon. I guess given the number of people that hit Amazon first and don't know OEMs sell direct it makes sense to market to them. And great the dealer hooked you up with their price.

    The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I finally decide on a truck. The 6.4 payload and power is really pulling on me and it's actually a little cheaper than a 1500 EcoDiesel with the same equipment, minus what's not available on a 1500. But 28 mpg on diesel against maybe 15 on the 6.4 and 100...
