I disconnected battery, shut the hood, shut the doors and left it for a couple of days. hooked everything up and now it works.- pytbul

So, getting ready for a trip, get in truck and insert fob turn key, dash comes on everything works but wont start. What the hell. Get out of truck tried remote start and truck starts. But wont start with key. Checked every fuse in truck, batteries are fine just wont start with key. Any Ideas...- pytbul

Thats what I'm talking about. My last gas engine truck got 11 empty 8 towing no matter what. So having a 3/4 ton trick getting this kind of mileage is really nice.- pytbul

Oh I can feel that pain. Went out a couple of weeks ago with the 5th wheel and it didn't matter which way the road turned i was bucking a head wind. Made for a long drive. It was worth it though once we got to where we were going.- pytbul

Actually I do the math on every tank. Straight cruising with no load is about 1/2 mpg off. Towing heavy it is off about 3/4 mpg. don't know why the difference but that how this truck is. I actually get better mileage with the 4.56 gears than i did with 3.73's as long as i stay under 75 mph.- pytbul

Yes trucks lie. But to take a full size truck and get 18 miles per gallon on long cruises is pretty nice. even at 1/2 mile per gallon I was still getting 19 mpg. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- pytbul

The 6.4 HD Hemi Thread
Your sensor for speed is off the tone ring of the ring gear. So anything before that will not affect it. Changing tire sizes affect the revolutions per mile the axle shaft turns, therefore changing the speedo.- pytbul

I changed from 3.73 to 4.56 gears on my 2500 with 6.4. totally changed how the truck drives. I live in the mountains and pull a 10000 lb 5th wheel. Mileage changed slightly to the better. I pretty much cruise at 65 mph and can stay in 5th gear instead always being in 4th. The only time I don't...- pytbul
