I'm trying to cover this ultra reflective latch with black vinyl and don't see an obvious way to remove it like some other trim levels. There are 2 rubber plugs but I don't think the hole is large enough for a screw head underneath. Do I just pry up the plastic layer that is on the underside?
Truck is back from the body shop for front end replacement. They forgot to tuck in an upper bumper tab on the driver's side that goes in behind the main steel bumper. The upper sits up high on the right side, looks stupid. What is the easiest way to fix that? It's pretty rigid and doesn't want...
I used the larger filter from the 2010's. I have tried the ziploc bag, still makes a mess since I have to turn the filter after breaking it loose. The container doesn't work well due to how close the k-frame or steering rack is. I usually put grocery bags over the k-frame to catch drips. I...
Do you know what years that could be done on? Our new Jeep has it and really wish my 2015 did as well. Last time I asked I was told here to "learn how to drive and use the mirrors".
I would fix it if you can, assuming there is enough of the solder pad exposed. I had a bad leak from the rear cab vents that had standing water in my rear underseat storage compartments. $20 in parts to fix and I am not sure if they would have taken my seats and carpet out to dry out like I did...
Thanks. Would need them to stay on for several seconds. It seems to me that when I hit unlock the taillights are lit for a decent while but I haven't measured it. I also don't want to pop fuses often or burn up a harness. I think the whole strip only pulls 2 amps.
Thanks, yeah I have some of those. I would prefer to keep wiring as close as possible. Was thinking taillight but could also use towing wire harness. I don't need the lights to be on for very long.
Is there a way to tap in to the taillights for low amperage LED lights in the bed that the key fob would make come on? Something such as the unlock button, etc. I could add a switch between taillights and LED lights if necessary to avoid them coming on when braking or using the turn signal. I...
Thanks, I see the re-pops with pass through for wiring. I need the screws as well. I see one on ebay but it's $60 for just one side. Still, that ws much more helpful than the previous post. Thank you...
An independent shop should be much cheaper to have the engine replaced. Best bet would be to get a junkyard pull with tranny from a wrecked truck but may not be easy to find.
To me it doesn't look like the seat back or bottom have anything to do with this clip area when up or down. I don't think it has any importance, honestly.
