F the truck and the equipment, it's replaceable, that little girl isn't. Congrats on the new kiddo, she will be your new project.

    Empty Connector??

JUst guessing, don't know if you have them, could be the 110 receptacle and the power back window motor. I would have to go check mine to be sure, but just a guess.

Good to see things are coming around. This ought to turn out to be one heckuva build.

What happened to this build? It was looking to be a good one to follow.

    Just a Tweeter Question

If you are putting them in factory locations, and using the wires that powered the factory speakers there shouldn't be a problem.

    Just a Tweeter Question

If you wire each speaker to its own channel, you will be fine.

This should be interesting. What are you using to secure the amp rack to the wall, or are you bracketing to the floor?

    Need some amp mounting ideas

I cut MDF the size of the amps, covered the boards in carpet and mounted those boards to 6' angle brackets that I bought at Home Depot. I stood the boards upright against the wall, so I could drill through the floor, not the rear of the cab. Screws are hid by the carpet, amp mounts are...

    RCSB Audio Build

Power doesn't have to be everything in a home setup, if you have the room. The BEST sub I have ever seen/heard, was a Kicker 18, and this was years ago, in a box based on a Klipsch/folded horn design-homebuilt box, that probably had 8-10 ft/3 of airspace combined with all of the chambers. If...

    RCSB Audio Build

Home theater/audio is fun, a lot more possibilities, and money to spend. Audio is audio, it is all fun, vehicles limit us to space, houses limit us to budget. You can go as big or as small as you want.

    RCSB Audio Build

I loved my old Onkyo, but when it died went with a Yamaha, HTD flat panels for front and center, towers took up too much real estate, and Polk bookshelfs for surrounds, with an Elemental Designs plate amp on an SSA Dcon 12 for sub duty. I love movies. Sorry to take off topic from the truck...

Yet another new owner with audio questions

I'm running a Dayton Reference 10" HO in about .55 ft/3 under the drivers side rear seat, and while it is NOT an SPL sub, it is damn nice to actually hear bass and drum notes as they were played. Very fast, very precice, not boomy at all, but, and I do mean but, it will be strictly bass for the...
