It's got to be a bad sending unit or gauge because now right after starting it the oil pressure drops to zero but there's no knocking or ticking and the truck runs fine, well it's running a bit rough but I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. I say that now but who knows, lol.
Not using coolant. When the gauge first started dropping to zero it was after 10 miles of driving, it's now dropping to zero after just a few miles. I read that a spun rod bearing would cause low oild pressure but I would think it would be a constant low pressure, not bounce from normal to zero...
Sitting at a stop light my oil pressure gauge on my 2002 4.7l RAM suddenly dropped to zero, I reved the RPMs and the gauge shot back up to normal. It was fine until the next stop light then it did it again. While it's doing this the engine sounds and runs perfectly normal. Got home, checked the...
I've seen on YouTube people using and/or talking about technical spec sheets they have on their vehicles but I can't seem to find online any detailed tech specs? Like, what model number the AC compressor is or the alternator or a detailed color under dash wiring diagram. Where are these guys...
I'm trying to install a Viper alarm in my truck but can't find a good ignition wiring diagram. I'm just using the ignition/starter interrupt but I don't know which wire under the dash to cut. Any help with diagrams or experience would be great!
I want to install a kill switch on my 02 RAM but finding a color coded wiring diagram is a problem. The last kill switch I installed was on my 74 C20 454 and it was simple but I'm a bit apprehensive on messing with the wiring on a computer controlled vehicle.
The image below is obviously not...
After cutting that piece off a member of another forum posted a pic of his spare tire winch and it just so happened to have that same exact bar welded on the winch so it is OEM. Perfect example of why getting a second opinion before cutting off OEM parts is always a good idea, lol.
Just bought an 02 RAM 1500 4.7l a few months ago without a spare tire, didn't think much about it until I came across another set of matching rims and tires. I thought oh good, I'll basically have four spare tires, I'll put one on the truck and store the other three.
Well after winching up the...
