Ok so finally got it to the dealer. Apparently the trans pan was leaking and it was low on fluid. They replaced the gasket and put 7 quarts of fluid in it. Seems better so far but i have only driven about 30 miles and its 28 degrees outside.
Mine did the same thing. i have 65k on mine now. i took to dealer and apparently the trans pan was leaking so it was low on fluid. i find it odd that i didnt spot that but seems a bit better now.
i have a 2015 ram 1500 with hemi. I disable mds every time. 80% is freeway.
3.21 gears with 8 speed. manual calculated i get 19mpg. the computer says i get 20. thats driving 80 mph on the freeway.
I did this 5 years ago with my 2001 dakota QC and some on the doors slid just a tiny bit. But no issues at all. I did the floor and over the trans where the heat was the greatest and it stayed just fine. Also helped alot. My job was not as pretty as yours
Where are you putting the x pipe at. its not a h pipe or true dual setup to start right. i dont know that there is a point in doing a crossover if it comes out of a single pipe. Unless you converted to true dual.
I just did mine. I have an express with the dual exits. It sounds good its not near as loud as i thought it would be. It does drone a bit when im driving 75 to 80 mph but no drone under that. im happy with it.
