Clean the cap completely. Then take it for a 30 minute freeway trip. The trip will get the engine up to normal operating temp and will evaporate any remaining moisture. If you have a leak, there will be more foamy oil. Good luck!
I think it is his problem. I had the same noise as his truck.
If you spray a little water on the belt while at idle, and the noise disappears, then its definitely a belt or pulley issue.
I had that noise on my 2009 hemi. I found that the power steering pump pulley was not aligned with the other pulleys. It was pushed in too close to the pump. I bought a pulley puller and had to move the pulley almost a quarter inch to line it up. Sound gone! Good luck.
My truck would jump around when going over a bump while in a turn. Turned out to be the left front shock, it had completely failed. Installed new font shocks and problem gone!

I like the power and economy of my 09 5.7L Hemi. I didn't like having to replace the cam and lifters at 114k miles. I did the work myself for about $1300. It seems they have no plans to correct the issue, so I wont buy another one.
Mopar Lifters were on backorder last year when I replaced mine. I bought Melling lifters from Oreillys Autoparts. I was told Melling manufactures the Mopar lifters.
