First time truck buyer, getting close to purchase
Make sure whatever you get has adjustable pedals. It is a "set it and forget it" thing but definitely necessary in my opinion. Also if available get the dual sun visors. Both our other trucks (Ford and Nissan) have these features but our 2017 Ram Big Horn has neither. :(- TBTn7

Panic Alarm
Well I fixed mine for good. I took apart the fob that I carry (I have two) and completely removed the disc that is attached to the underside of the red rubber button. The crazy alarm came on the other day in a parking lot. I was getting out and the key was in my hand!!??- TBTn7

Exhaust bolts
Why couldn't the manifolds be stress relieved then surfaced flat when first manufactured? Oh yeah, that would put cost "in" not out. So, that being said, why not have this done when the bolts start breaking? Shouldn't be too costly. Think I'll investigate it. EDIT: Called a reputable heat...- TBTn7

Extra Muffler
2017 Ram 1500 Big Horn 4x4 Crew w/factory dual exhaust Considered installing shorty headers when the exhaust manifold bolts break but don't want ANY increase in exhaust noise. It's too loud for me as it is. Talked to someone at Moe's and he confirmed it would make it louder and my only option...- TBTn7

Panic Alarm
Ok on the key fob fix. How about a way to disable the horn when using just the entry key? I was hoping to not have to carry the fob in my pocket and just use the key to open the door. Apparently it thinks it's being broken into! Thanks for the replies.- TBTn7

Painting my chrome rims question.
So.... My 2017 Big Horn wheels (which are painted underneath the clad) will look like this with the cladding off? I'd sure hate to remove it and find an ugly wheel underneath. How do you remove the glued-on cladding and preserve the paint underneath? Once the cladding is off what is the best... -

I'm thinking if the door switch(s) were jumpered (thinks it's latched) it would stop the chiming and would also allow the vehicle to move with the driver door open. Should also disable the interior and mirror lights coming on when the door is opened. My 2001 Ford Expedition has a fused rocker... -

Seatbelt EVIC message
Do the seats have sensors that detect a person sitting? If so maybe that could be disabled by jumpering? If that is possible it should stop the display warnings. ******DISCLAIMER****** Proceed at your own risk. I have not tried this but am hoping someone with electrical/electronics knowledge... -

How to turn Seatbelt Chime off
To the OP- this worked on my 2017 Big Horn CC!!! Before the fix I could not go over 5 mph without the chiming. Was about to drive me to the point of looking for the thing and shoving a screwdriver into it. I LOVE YOU MAN!!!- TBTn7

Auto Park When Door is Opened
My 2017 Big Horn 1500 CC will not allow me to back up or go forward when the driver door is open unless the driver's seat belt is buckled. Unbuckled, it won't go anywhere, forward or reverse. Adjustable Pedals
It is a pretty much "set it and forget it" sort of thing. Try this-pull them up to where it is uncomfortable and drive it that way. You will soon see why it is a nice thing to have. I run mine all the way to the floor in the other trucks. -

Adjustable Pedals
It isn't the end of the world, but it is uncomfortable. When I put it in cruise and get comfortable my foot is actually UNDER the gas pedal. Pretty much have to lift my entire leg to get up on the brake pedal. If I put the seat back far enough for my legs, I have to reach for the steering wheel.
