I'm very happy with the Fox 2.0's. They're not overly costly and kept the supple ride while also providing much better control. I don't really offroad my truck, but do tow a toyhauler often.
Out of curiosity, how many miles and how do you use your truck, any towing/hauling ?
I have the Maxcare and so far it's been great in replacing a couple exhaust manifolds and entire driveshaft + bearings. Only 73k miles on my '14.
It was trial and error. I printed at a zoom level then measured on the print until an 8" dimension actually was 8", as an example. Once that was calibrated it all fit perfectly.
I wanted something with a reasonable step but also didn't hang down too low like many of them. Ended up with these Go Rhino boards. They attach to factory locations without any drilling and are very sturdy. I've had two 200# men on a board and no flex at all. IMO they look pretty good as well if...
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to take the truck to a local brake specialist and have it all examined and the fluid changed. Just seemed strange to me that this same drive I've done many times, and in cool weather, just this trip showed a problem, the only difference being the new rotors...
I've used this truck and trailer combo together about 6k miles over the last couple years with no issues whatsoever until yesterday. Towing my toyhauler loaded up to approx 8500#, and on a route I've towed multiple times. Was following another guy towing down a 10 minute curvy grade who was...
I'll speak from my experience.
My '14 Sport came with 8 speed, 3.21 ratio, factory 20's, and the tires were almost 34". After 30k miles I upgraded to 35's on aftermarket 20's. I am running a HemiFever PCM/TCM tune which changes the shift characteristics a bit.
My last truck was a 2500 Cummins...
In my case it was the driveshaft and center support bearing. Read the details in this thread…

Dealer ended up replacing the driveshaft and center support bearing, and shimmed the support bearing down about 3/4" to correct the driveline angle. All but the shim kit was paid for by extended warranty. My truck has a 1.5" poly spacer lift and air bags in the back, so it's effectively lifted...
I have 4" CST spindles on the front of my '14 and used the Fox 2.0 shocks, as you said they only make one front shock specific to our 2wd Gen 4. They worked perfectly and made a very positive difference in control.
I have the lifetime on my '14 with 52k miles on it now. I had exhaust manifold studs replaced, and just recently a new driveshaft and support bearing for my $100 deductible each incident. Love this truck and plan to keep it for a good while with this coverage.
the brackets allow you to position the hooks wider and aligned with the larger opening in the fascia, as well as face them outwards. You could use the OEM brackets without those two benefits.
Thanks to @Ken226 I was able to grab his pdf files, scale them on the printer, and use them as a template to create my own brackets which worked out perfectly. It took $50 worth of carbide blades and at least 4 hours of my time to work the 3/16" angle iron with saws and a drill press, but in the...
It wasn't a transmission issue after all. The dealer couldn't reproduce the issue without the trailer hitched up to provide real load, so I got creative and put a GoPro and light in different spots under the truck to see if it was something else, and it certainly is. It is worth saying the...
