Suggestions for 2018 Ram Express Led low beams and fogs.

Hi guys, been a member for a couple years, I don't post much but I read a lot. I'm kinda stuck on which led lows and fogs to buy, leasing truck for 3 years and want better lights but don't wanna spend a ton, I've read at different places that stuff that works in the earlier models won't work in the 18s so I'm looking for suggestions for easy plug and play installation with no flickering or messages. Anybody have any ideas for me, any help will be greatly appreciated, I'm mechanically inclined just need to know what to get, thanks in advance!

I had these in our Journey headlights and fog lights and have them in our Charger right now and they are great.

I will get some for my Express soon.

Oh and they were plug and play for both vehicles. I did turn the aiming down just a little on both also. Beam pattern seemed to be the same as the stock bulbs when I compared while putting them in. I have not been flashed with them yet.

I’ve got the supernova v3’s from a member here on the forum. Lows and fogs work very well.

Thanks for helping me out, have you confirmed they work in a 2018? Can you explain turn the aiming down? Noticed you were from Pa, what part you from?

I'm also leasing a 2018 express, and wanted better light without too much modification. I went with the vanquish LEDs and they are awesome, very bright, and no error codes, the heatsink is unique, you bend the blades inside the housing to spread them out. They are not cheap but they come with a 5 year warranty. They gave me a 20% off code as well.

No. I haven’t confirmed they will work in an 18. Both vehicles I had/have them in are 12s. On both vehicles I replaced one bulb and then shined the lights in a wall for comparison. The replacement bulbs light pattern looked to be about the same, but I wanted to aim them down just a little to avoid blinding incoming traffic shiner they don’t have the cutoff a HID setup would. Anyway. Found the adjustment screws and turned them to the left a few turns. Replaced the other side and then turned that one down to match. I probably didn’t need to do this, but they still light up the road nice and like I said before, I’ve never been flashed.

I messaged them verifying the fitment and everything and they just gave it too me, if you are interested, send them a message and see if they give it to you.

So if I buy a set off of Amazon that says may need anti flicker module or resistors can I get any brand or do they have to match?

You should be ok if they're a different brand. I got these and have been happy with them:

I think if you get the ones that say “chipped” you won’t need anything else like resistors, etc.
