RLJ - Not exactly sure on those specs....Whatever the stock stuff on a 5.7 hemi...2015 year??? Not sure that helps you....Noise started about 4 months ago out of nowhere. To be honest this cant be a normal noise - no one would deal with this....It sounds like a pile of junk whenever it hits 1500 rpms. Rumble strip noise. No vibration. Doesn't do it in park...neutral.....Apparently it doesn't do it when its on the rack - tires have to be on the ground....At least that's what I was told by dlr....

Update if anyone following. Got the truck back April 17th...muffler shop had found drivers heat shield messed up. Dodge dealer replaced driver side manifold...heat shield....and torque converter. Issue went away for about 24 hours. Heard the rumble noise on the 2nd day. Heard it again a few times in the following day. Was all good in my mind as it had been gone about 95%. yesterday it reappeared...and is back to about 65% of the time. Hard to phucking believe it.

I hate to suggest this, but it sounds like for your own sanity, I think you need to bail out of that truck.

Yah, I keep saying the same thing....Love everything about this truck, except this tumor that no one can seem to find and remove. Everyone that's been in the truck has said the same thing - "that isn't normal and I wouldn't settle for it." Spend decent $$$ on a nice used truck with warranty, to get out of the "repair cycle" only to be stuck in the worst repair cycle I've ever been in. Thankfully its all been warranty work....id be glad to pay for whatever repair it is if someone knew wtf the repair was. Stuck between getting gutted on trade in....and ******* away thousands to chase and hopefully find the issue. As I said - if someone knew what the repair was Id gladly pay for it....I'm fortunate that all the chasing hasn't cost me anything. Id be in a psych ward if I was paying for this with no resolution!

meedom - sounds like ur going over a rumble strip - best I can describe it... a vibration noise...1500 RPM only... but you cant feel it in the floor, steering, pedal etc....its only audible, and not in any way normal drone noise. Feathering the gas pedal at 1500 rpm you can keep the noise going....Accelerate quickly from a stop and you never hear it...until you end up at a cruise speed at 1500 rpms. Entire circle of friends that's ridden in the truck have all said "wtf" when they hear it.
No performance issues....which is the ONLY reason I still own this truck.

I have only kept posting because IF it is resolved, I hope someone somewhere can benefit from it in the end. Many hours of searching, reading, listening, watching has given me almost no help on this issue. Just hoping if to find a resolution for myself, and in the end help someone else so they don't have to spend 5+ months searching the same things I did.

Ok thanks for the clarification. Is that something like the rhythmic thumping noise you get when you have
the wrong windows open at the same time? I know, I'm grasping here.....

Meedom- I wish. I really wish. There has to be a bolt that refuses to stay tight, or something was moved and now is rubbing again. I just cant understand why it would go away for a bit, and come back slowly over the last week...
