I currently have a 18 sport cc 5.7. It has the bilstein set at 2.1. Kyb monomax are ordered and ttc 1211 to come. Painted oem 2500 flares are at the body shop to be put on next week.

I just purchased a used set of fuel octanes 20x10 with over 50% worn Toyo at2 extremes in 35x12.50x20. A bit of work with a heat gun and no rubbing.

Issue is this thing rides rough! On our frost heaved highways it’s a rough ride.

Is this due to the worn tires? Not balanced or type of tire?

Looking to possibly down grade to 295/60/20. Will the look drastically change?
I have a winter set with 275/65 ko2 and that’s a dream compared to this. I love the look of the tires I currently have. Willing to keep the same size if new tires would help the road wonder and bouncing.
Any suggestions would be great! Thank you

They are at 50 right now. Was not sure how low I can go on em. I will drop the pressure and see. I was just worried about the suspension being too weak. But bils are stiff and ditching stock shocks shortly. Pulling boat constantly all summer so I knew I had to beef the rear coils anyway. I was just thinking they might have balancing beads. Don’t recall weights when I put on but was not looking. Never had luck with beads

I also called Nitto and asked them what tire pressure I should run. They took the information of my truck and put it into a formula and it came out to 36.4lbs. Now with you towing a boat you probably would need to run a little more air in the rear tire with the extra weight.

Here is a link to help you with what size tire.

I've never had balance beads, so not too sure about them. If you think it's a balance issue I've heard good things about Road Force Balance, it's different than the normal spin balance. Might be worth finding a local shop that does it and have them checked out.
