The issue with drone is its a frequency and not every one can pick up that frequency the same. Some people may may not hear it at all and others will be driven nuts by it and others can be anywhere in the middle.

Basically, for me at least, it’s like this low humming sound but it’s not bothersome in any way.The issue with drone is its a frequency and not every one can pick up that frequency the same. I currently have a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler (muffler swap only) on my truck. It sounds great but I was thinking about swapping it out for a full cat back system sometime in the future. I've pretty much settled on the Carven exhaust (either progressive or competitor) because they both sound great, are made of the same 304 stainless as and are much more affordable than Borla or Corsa. I didn't feel like spending $1200 on a borla kit and, I'm sorry, but I'm not the biggest fan of the way the corsa sounds. Anyway, what makes the decision so difficult is the fact that there are so many different experiences on whether or not the carven exhaust causes an interior drone. Anyone have this setup on their trucks and if so, what are your experiences with interior noise primarily? From what I've read, one person could have the exact same setup as someone else and one person will say they have a ton of drone and the other one doesn't have any. It literally makes zero sense to me and makes choosing a new exhaust system extremely difficult. I've also heard that, I suppose due to the construction of the muffler, that the progressive actually has more drone than the competitor which is why only the competitor is available for the 2019 Rams.
How's the drone though?THE best exhaust is no exhaust. Had the mufflers looped off my 2015 Hemi, and just a straight pipe in place of said exhaust....As it's been told to me....that sounds monstrous!!
I have yet to find any muffler that sounds better. especially at WOT. The truck gets everyone's attention at WOT
My drone isn't bad at all you get used to it really quickly. How's the drone though?
This^^^ I deleted my muffler on my 18 with a x pipe so true duals sounds absolutely monstrous

Yes, there is a slight drone, but definitely not intrusive. I had my 83 year old Dad rode along in the back seat for over 4000 KM, (LOL, yes I'm in Canada), and he said he noticed a small drone or "hum" from the exhaust, but like he said too, definitely not intrusive. He was quite comfortable back there.
