Is there really a need? Phone's do GPS WAY better than any auto manufacturer. Since you have CarPlay/Android Auto and can use Waze/Google Maps, you are way better off, and never have to pay for map updates.
Unless I am missing something. If you want I'll swap 8.4's with you and pay the shipping both ways.

I agree with the above. The 8.4 does ok but your phone is way better. I only use mine on longer trips when I know it’s all interstate and only use it as a distance reference. Once I get close to my destination, I switch over to my phone for accuracy.
In your RAM years you show 1997,2015 and 2017. Did you upgrade one of them to a 2018 radio? NAV can be added to a 2017 or older pretty cheap. I'm looking at trading the 15 in on a 18 2500 that has the 8.4 without Nav.
Well unfortunately something about Uconnect changed for 2018 and newer models so if you want it you'll have to pay the dealer for it unless you can wait awhile and see if more reasonably priced options come to market in the future. Good luck!
