Upgraded OEM subwoofer to a Pioneer sub. Plug & Play with Metra adapters.

Filled plastic woofer box with shredded poly fill from a pillow, but not overstuffed. The hollow plastic food container sound is gone.

Sealed bottom screw hole with a wood disc and copious amounts of silicone.

I am not a bass head, but these old ears can tell a marked difference.

From someone who stood in front of the speaker stacks at concerts until his ears bled in the 70's, I'm quite happy with the results. $80 all-in.

Spent about 5 hours doing a strip wash, claying, and then AIO waxing... by hand. I really need to get a DA and not let it get so bad again. The clay took foreeeeever and damn did it sound absolutely horrendous. Would've gone more aggressive on the clay, but local options were slim pickins and I didn't have a DA on hand to do much correction so I played it safe with less aggressive clay and plenty of lube. Got half way decent results from the all in one by hand, but that took hours as well. I'd post more pictures but my beer run to celebrate got it covered in dust again so I need to hose it down tomorrow lol.

That ones been on my radar, just haven't had the time or urge to drive over an hour to pick one up. I really need to find some time to compound all the road rash on the lower quarters down as smooth as I dare then dr color chips the hell out of it. Outside of that I'd probably stick to all in ones once a year since it's never going to stay super clean and I'd rather save as much of the clear as possible for as long as possible. Living out here it's just a fact of life for daily drivers.

Anderson connected everything, winch, air compressor, and jumper cables.
Bought jumper cables with them and got the idea to put them on everything.

Mcbroom - Is it safe to say you have no title to that old truck? If you did you could make a few bucks off of it. Especially if it's a 4wd. A lot of people seek inexpensive 4wds.

As for me just drove the 2017 over the weekend. :sleepy:

Got this beautiful crack on the windshield while driving on the highway today. Heard the rock hit and knew the glass was f*****. Quoted $360 for a full replacement. Less than the deductible so I’ll have to do it one of these days...

FYI, if you’re thinking about moving to Colorado, we have hail the size of tennis balls, flying rocks, and everyone driving is high/clueless. Just a heads up.

Made a muffler out of old pieces I had laying around. It ain't pretty but it works. I may paint it if I feel ambitious later on. Cause you know what they say, a grinder and paint make me the welder I ain't. Yes, feel free to laugh at my crappy welds.

Not any better up here in WY, I would replace the Jeeps windshield on average every 6 months. I had a crack in the Ram and the manager at the place I always go to had a cow, "what am I going to do with all these Jeeps windshields now" haha
