Hey guys I’m new to the forum and just got my first dodge. I haven’t done much besides a leveling kit and exhaust so far but I do plan on doing some bolt on stuff like a CAI and possibly a TB. I really want to get rid of the MDS right now tho and been looking into some tuners like Superchips and Diablo predator. Anybody have any advice on the two?

I prefer the Diablosport programmers for gas engines. They do produce good results and there are a couple of tuners that can tweak the tune for awesome results.

Couple the programmer with a cold air intake and a freer flowing exhaust for the best bang for the buck combination of mods you can put on your truck.

Forget about the throttle body. Your stock one flows all the air a stock engine can use at any given time.

If you're leaving it stock internally, Superchips will be best because you can get the trans tuning with it. If you intend to modify it more heavily or just get some sort of custom tune then Diablo is what you want.

alright thanks I’ll look into it! What’s on the truck now is stock but the muffler was cut out (resonator left in) and had dual exhaust from a Y-pipe. Think I should get the exhaust changed up?

I’m not planning on doing a lot, just some basic things as far as performance. Wasn’t planning on doing much after a CAI and exhaust if I decide change it and get true duals or even headers

No need to swap it out now. With the muffler removed and more flow occuring compared to stock, that mod has met the requirement for additional airflow.
