Found a set of Rebel 17" wheels & tires today (285/70R17). Great ride improvement over the 275/60R20 but will be upgrading to 285/75R17 at some point.

I have 2 sets of 20’s. The ones in the photo are 2010 chrome clad 20x10 with Hercules Avalanche X-Treme SUV 275/60r20 @ 15k miles. Other set are 2017 brushed aluminium 20x10 with Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 275/60r20 @ 25k miles.
Probably going to sell them both. Located in Kitchener, Ontario. DM if interested.

I have used Rotella T6 oil on my Audi for years now. Didnt even think of running it on the new Ram. Ill have to check this out. Its always on sale at my local Walmart and never out of stock.
Also I installed a used (4 month old) AF Dynamic air intake today. A buddy of mines is trading in his Ram and gifted it to me. Dont know much about the brand but it seems like its good quality.

You might be thinking 5w40 diesel oil. The 5w30 is relatively new, and is for gas and diesel

Michael & Midnight Storm - I had that problem with my 2012 and that's why the 2012 got sold off. So far the 2017 hasn't had that problem, but Ram Customer care doesn't seem to care that we have to pay for the repairs. Sorry to say since I really like the style of the 4th Gens. but looks like I'll be switching to another brand.

Finished off a 9 hour drive back home to Pittsburgh from OBX. After dropping of the misses and unpacking, took the ol' girl to get a bath and a fill up. Desperately needed the bath after some crazy waves submerged the roads with salt water, and wind left everything covered with sand. Averaged 18 MPG over the 1375 mile trip. Was getting closer to 20 MPG in OBX since everything is so flat down there, and not dragging around a full load. Fun to get a long trip in after only having the truck for about a month.

Preemtivally fixed the broken manifold bolts. Finally out the AFE long tubes and high flow cats, that I have had for a year. Even though the kit says it won't fit the Reg cab I cut down the mid tube and added a new 3.5" QTP. Thing seems huge compared to the 3" I had on there. Good thing is I didn't have to rewire it. Same area. Getting the 60k parts off was probably the hardest part. Especially since Maine uses that liquid rot on the roads. Houston shouldn't treat it as bad. Loaded the new tune. What a difference. And Pull Ya I'm now old enough for the geezer thread.

Good luck finding another brand that’s better. This is my third 2014 and up vehicle between 3 different brands and the ram has been superior in nearly every aspect.Michael & Midnight Storm - I had that problem with my 2012 and that's why the 2012 got sold off.
