Maxtrac vs MotoFab 2" spacer for 2wd 1500

I just saw a Maxtrac youtube video of them installing that kit and at the last second they end the video before seeing how it came out. haha...

I would love to get that kit but $1500 is way out of my budget. I just spent $1K on Kooks headers and had to put that on a credit card. At least I have no interest on it for a while. Also, my wife is needing a surgery that is going to put me back more than 2 grand so I'm just doing what I can for now.

These are the two in my Amazon list. Is one better than the other as far as ease of installation/quality?

Also any shock reccomendations? I think I read that installing shocks from 2500 Ram would work? Anyone can confirm that?

They are virtually the same installation wise. You’ll go through all the same motions for both. I would lean toward the Maxtrac and pair them with a decent shock like a fox 2.0 they make multiple series of them that vary in price. I do not know 2wd well so I would definitely refer to @Nick@GotExhaust he can set you up with a nice combo deal

Definitely worth it ... save the money and like @Quick_Shifter said pair it with the fox shocks ...both @the_goodguy07 and I have the fox shocks and our trucks run smooooooooth ... He was going to go with the ones Maxtrac comes with but told him to spend the extra on the fox shocks ..honestly some people say unless you go offroading they are overkill and not worth it ..but I think they are ...
