It is 4-5 aux switches that came as an option. They are called Upfitter ElectronicModule (VSIM)

the 18s have done it and I see the part number listed in the forum but no 19s have talked about this.

What are you trying to run off of them?
Obviously you are going for the stock look. I use a Phenix typhoon full function to control some things. Plus you get the pa and sirens. Not stock and trust me in a fan of the stock look

Two sets of lights maybe the train horn(unlatched) and an air compressor

Plus I would like to cut Rigid lights in my rear bumper (if I grow a pair of balls to make the cuts) and put some multi directional rigid lights on my headache rack. In the past I paid a shop to have some of the hard stuff done but this time around, I plan on doing it all.

That’s the way to go. I do everything myself. Even stuff I should have let a shop do.
If you were closer to the red river id help ya do all those awesome mods.

thanks for the offer. I don’t have any friends that are gear heads like me, so they are useless in this regard. A few folks on the forum live 45min away in Houston (go Astros) but I don’t know them yet.

Once I get the wiring figured out I will do a build thread to help others and to answer the “why did you do it that way” questions. Lol

This post is incorrect. The aux switches and the upfitter module are two completely different things.

Right, the switches I wanted or am familiar with is the Uplifter from the Ford set up which was on my raptor the only information I found for PW was the link I posted and the option I don’t have. It’s called Upfitter ElectronicModule (VSIM)
No one seems to know anything about this or has a 19 that has done it. I don’t suppose you know and are withholding information?
This is a please help me thread and not a how to(not yet at least) I already picked up two sets of rigid lights and vision X. Gearing up and was hoping to stay stock looking but this is not my first rodeo mr smart. Plan B is switch pros. Though Rough Country had some switches and relay setup that did not fail me in my last rig. But thanks for checking in.

Cant remember who it was / is but someone on here has sold a plug and play upgrade for 4th gen trucks to add the aux switches. I’ll see if I can find it. I think he has a website and U tube channel also. Maybe he has info on the 4.5/5th gen electronics to help u out

There is a few guys that bought the 2nd row of switches just below the heated steering wheel switch on the 17&18 and was successful. (Added a pic) The only visible switch I can see I’m missing, is the engine brake (use for the diesel model)
The option, from what I can tell has been available for 4 years and is an option for the 2020 PW. I’m not sure why any one that orders their PW would not opt for only $375
I read that all wiring is available and in place rather you have the package or not. Like in my first pics you can see the ram box plug just behind Panel yet I don’t have ram boxes. it could be a dead end but I see slots available (added a pic) my truck has everything but the ram boxes, so that’s why I think those spaces is what I should be plugging into.

I’m going to run switches for lights and was hoping to tap into the truck wiring and harness. Seems that I’m missing the Module under the steering any 19s get that option on their truck? on the 18s it’s under the radio. I have added a few pictures of it helps. This might be a dead end and I will have to install relays and do some setup like https://www.switchpros.com/

They have a set up now its all blue tooth you do not have to run any wires into the cab. The unit is a module that sits next to the battery and has leads with weather tight connectors you run from their to your location for lights or any thing you want also different amps for what you are hooking up. relays are all set in the module unit feed power from pos and neg post off battery couldn't be more simple. and they have a bank of switchs that even light at night to control everything from inside the cab. Let me tell you I installed a dash camera on my Ram it was a pain in the balls running the wires into the cab. to power the unit

Yes blue tooth is an option. I will go with switchpros as plan B, as I mentioned before. I want factory looking though switchpro does allow some better functions.... I’m no sold on a solid state system (call me old school) I cannot replace any components. RC as a very nice set up that I used before and it was flawless.
