2 other things that allow water into the cab

The sliding rear window drain gets dirt in it & over fills the track.

The two rubber roof seams can lift a bit, that allows water to follow the seam to where it meets the window seal, lifting the window seal just a bit, just use Silicone to hold the roof strips in place

Go to Walmart and get a refillable Damprid and put it in the truck with the rear seat up - it will absorb the moisture out of the air after you fix the leak - hopefully will prevent mold and mildew.
thanks for everyone’s help and info

As Aaron383 mentioned, the 3rd brake light is a known issue so it can't hurt to replace the gasket. Home Depot has some nice silicone door gasket that works fine on that light. Cheap, easy to replace & it works.

As to the "3rd brake light", after swapping out the incandescent bulbs to led, I put some permatex ultra silicone under the screw heads and filled the 3/16ths gap between the cab and lense.

The rear sliding window if you have one and the cab vents are pretty common failures that allow water into the cab.

I had the same exact thing happened to me about 2 years ago. It started out I would see a little bit of condensation appear on the inside of my rear windows. Then I started smelling a really bad musty smell coming from my back seat area, which when I opened the rear storage compartment under the seats and smelled down near the carpet at the bottom I could smell that's where it was coming from especially on the passenger side. When I removed the carpet I could feel how damp it was right in the center of the passenger side. So I drove around with the carpet out for a few days to see if I could notice anything and eventually saw a puddle in the middle of the floor of the storage compartment area on the passenger side. Everything I read said it was either the third brake light or the sliding rear window but I said to myself there's no way it could be the third brake light it's showing up in the middle of the floor on the passanger side with no water or dampness showing at all in the very center which is where the 3rd brake light was in line with. So I researched how to and cleaned the drainage areas out for the sliding rear window but that did not help anything. Eventually I ended up taking a hose and soaked the entire back window and saw nothing, then I directed it on the 3rd brake light and when I looked inside I saw water dripping down from the upper pillar area on the rear passenger side right next to the door behind the seat so come to find out it was actually the third brake light when I removed it you can see that the water actually flows into a channel inside the edge of the roof opening for the light which directed it all the way over to the passenger side pillar area next to the door and then it followed the pillar down behind the seat and ended up underneath the carpet for the storage compartment. I didn't want to silicone the third brake light in just in case I ever needed to change the bulb or anything so I ended up finding a product at my local Napa made by 3M that is a permanently pliable gasket type caulk rope strip so I used that and stuck it around the existing gasket for my third brake light and then pushed the third brake light back into place. That made it so if I ever needed to replace the bulb I could easily pull the third brake light out again but it's sealed it up so that it stopped all the water from coming in. I don't remember the exact name of the 3M product but when I get home later I'll check because I still have a lot of it left over. But that is definitely where I would start even though it looked like it couldn't possibly be coming from there that's what mine ended up being.

Son's '18 crew cab had a plugged drain on the RR door, which caused the door cavity to fill with water. Something else to check...

I had water issues under the rear passenger seat on my 2013 CC. As stated by others, water can come in through rear slider, even if weep hole is clean, if too much water is directed on rear window.
My problem was the 3rd brake light. Silicone solved it.
I only mention the rear window because after I put a new gasket on 3rd light, I was pouring a fair amount of water down rear from the truck roof. I found water inside. So I redid 3rd light. Same problem. I then silicone. That's when I discovered water can come in rear slider if it's drenched from above. But regular heavy rain doesn't cause it to leak.
By the time I was done, and figured that out, I'll never be able to change a bulb in that third light without a pry bar. LOL
