Getting a good thud when suspension reacts to gravity. Meaning going over terrain seems good when its a shock absorption. But going over terrain that is a drop, I get a thud from the undercarriage. Checked all the suspension parts. Everything seems tight. But my body mounts have a 1/2 gap between the bolt head/washer. Gaps seem to uneven across all of them. Here is a pic of one of them. Does this look normal? 2019 Ram 2500.

My 2019 has always done that when bed is empty. As little as 100 lbs in bed stops it for me.

My 2019 2500 looks exactly the same and makes the same noise hitting bumps. It's really annoying off road especially when I can feel the thud through the floor boards.

I have a 2019 3500 dually and I have the same symptom. It’s only when the front suspension drops hard, suddenly. I hadn’t noticed the cab body mounts, but I will look when I get a chance. I wonder if an aftermarket replacement would be better?? Hopefully someone in the forum has more information.

That had been a problem in the past. It would be worse in cold weather and you would feel it right under your feet. They corrected the issue with a newer mount but this was on 14 and 15 models

Do you happen to know the torque spec?
I don’t, but if you look around this site you can find a free factory service manual download for your truck and it should be in there.

I checked mine and they were tight but I'll do a double check with the torque wrench. There's a YT video out there where a guy put a camera under his truck and drove around. You could see the cab moving up and down on the mounts which appears to be making the noise.
