I have a 2019 RAM Rebel with 85,000 miles and have been having The warning system popping up on my dash telling me that the tires are underinflated. The dash tells me that the front inflation numbers are showing up as the back and the back as the front. They have flip flopped. Later they will switch back. This started at least a year ago and I had new sensors put on each tire/rim. That seemed to work for a while and then it started again recently and is intermittent and happens infrequently. By the way, the tires are all inflated to the correct pressure (checked with a gauge). Anyone else have this problem? Do you have a solution. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I was battling a similar situation with my 2027 Rebel and using aftermarket sensors.
Would read them fine for a few days, then they would get mixed up and it would soon after loose them all.
Even times where it was reading them and still saying there was a problem and not a problem.
Tire was at 45 saying it was low and to air to 45. LOL

After weeks of messing with this loosing them getting back and loosing them again, having to do hard resets (Unhooking the battery for 15 min) . Never seen anything like it before.

I put my OEM tires and wheels back on with the OEM sensors and all the sudden it was happy again.
So far 4 days into having the oem sensors back on the truck, it still fine.

Oddly enough, I have the exact same aftermarket programable Autel sensors on my 2026 RAM 1500, which have always worked perfectly.

Starting to think my truck with the temperamental TPMS is just a Diva. LOL

I am going to order a set of OEM sensors and try again to run my other tires and wheels.
Oddly enough My 2026 Vin and the 2027 Vin call for the same OEM sensors, which means the aftermarket sensors should have worked just fine, not work sometimes and sometimes not.

It’s been resolved , there seems to be something with the 27s or mine anyway that simply wants the OEM TPMS sensors, still don’t really understand it, both 26 and 27 call for the same sensors. Best I can tell all 5th gen Rams use the same sensors. Not had any issues with my other Rams using the aftermarket sensors in my custom wheels. Something about this 27 only seems to want to work consistently properly with OEM sensors.

Got some new OEM sensors from the Ram dealer installed in my custom wheels today. All seems fine just like the OEM wheels and the factory sensors.

I guess when in doubt always go back with OEM sensors.

Custom wheels and tires are back on the truck as of tonight with OEM sensors and truck seems happy, no TPMS faults .

I had to replace a four last month, and found a great price on Ebay for new OEM. Git all four for under $40. Didn't look at the manufacture date though. Oh well, they are working fine with no issues. I always try for OEM when possible.
