Morimoto xb tails
Got my tails and foglights in today. Nice and bright. It does have an unique magnified lens for the reverse lights that put out a wide flat beam of light. On a side note the passenger side tail light didn't like working with my Recon 3rd tail light so I left it disconnected until I get a fix... -

Removing Emblem Adhesive
Fishing line, fingernails, and a microfiber cloth will MEK. Keep a bucket of soapy water to wipe off the MEK after every letter........Bad things can happen. -

If you would like to keep all of your ground clearance, and still have the best approach height, I would recommend the power steps. It's the only one that gives you the best of both worlds. Well unless you're looking to use them as rock sliders off road. -

AMP Research Powersteps PICs/Video
I had the same issue. I ended up putting them right up against the pinch weld corner that you drilled the wire grommets for, pointing down. Lighting is not as good as your location, but the wide beam LED's still light up the back half of the step when deployed. -
Billet Badges finally came in
Wow... they do steering wheel badges now? I thought they didn't want to because of the possibilities of a flying projectile during an air bag deployment. Looks like I'm ordering another badge :) -
Finally got some painted headlights
Man those look sweet with the tinted blinker lenses. I'm going to have to get a set of those and some matching fogs to finish out the blackout treatment. -

I haven't noticed a difference in mileage yet due to my heavy foot. But I immediately noticed a smoother idle at stoplights. Must be due to their being less rotational mass and drag on the crank.
