Well I am using it for accessories. I don’t have a dual battery set up so between the winch and lights it’s getting used harder than a stock truck would use a factory battery. I do have protections with the SPOD from accidentally leaving something on but I’d rather take my chances with a...
Batteries are one of the things that OEMs pinch pennies on the hardest. It’s just something I have always done. I would say the average commuter does not need to worry, but we ask more of our batteries than most with winches and accessories. You are cycling it harder and a lead acid is not up...
I called NorthStar and asked directly and he said that since this batter is made to meet factory replacement specs it will reach full charge with the stock charging system. You are correct that some AGMs need higher voltage to reach full charge but not all AGMs are the same. I would call the...
I installed the 94R Northstar AGM Battery. This thing is amazing. Perfect fit...like in every way perfect fit. Someone mentioned that you can go up a size in the battery tray, that is not the case for the 2020 Ram. The 94R takes up the entire tray and there are no extra knockouts to remove...
Sure thing. I documented it here in my build blog on ExPo: https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/helinomad-ram-powerwagon-build.217769/ Got to give props to @Scotts26 since he did it first. He also documented his version on here.
The light is a BajaDesign S8 driving/combo. Thanks...
That’s great! The grill complex is really well designed on these trucks. Really i just needed an excuse to try out my new Miller welder. [emoji6][emoji851][emoji39]

Here is what I did. Inspired by @Scotts26 just a slightly different approach.
I used the SDHQ A Pillar brackets which I like because they are compatible with the AEV Snorkel and ended up making my own bracket for the S8 so that it would distribute the load evenly and handle rough roads. I...
It actually clears by a decent margin now. You just have to hammer it up there. The sidewalls are extremely stiff on this tire so just airing it down doesn't really get it to conform that much.
So it seem that the NorthStar AGM 94R is the best OEM replacement solution for the PW. With that said...some of these AGMs require a higher voltage to achieve sufficient charge. Do any of you know if the power wagon alternators need adjustment for the Northstar or will it work as is? I...
What was the replacement experience like? Direct drop in? Any modifications requirements needed for the retention system?

Actually I pulled them off my self. I wasn’t a fan of the graphics. No offense to those who do...just preferred a more subdued look. I did leave the hood cover as it does reduce glare...I wish it was matte though. Might switch that out.

One of the first things I usually replace on a new vehicle build is the factory battery. Being new to Rams what is the recommended solution here for a high quality main battery that can handle reasonable cycling from running accessories and vibration on the trial. I’ve been a fan of Odyssey...
I hate it when the internet is right. A little rubber mallet banging and sure enough it fit even higher, cleared the frame rail and got further from the panhard bar.

I thought about that but the rear brake distribution block is extremely close to the other side of the bar. Honestly...after sleeping on it...I'm thinking that it shouldn't be down there. The hassle of getting it in or out is not something I think I want to deal with when actually on the...
Hey guys,
Wanted to share some photos of my 2020 Power Wagon with 35" Toyo MTs. I had read reports that the 35" fits "easily" in the spare well. Honestly it was quite a chore to get it in at the perfect angle and it touches the panhard bar. It also doesn't sit level sits the driver side...
