my 545RFE seems pretty good for now.. I know there's a little rough shift from 3 to 4th. So I know it's just a matter of time with 230,000 miles on it. I am first owner and always done fluid change at about 60,000 miles.. I'll have to keep an eye out for 65RFE.
I used a pac SW1-RC from Pac. Wiring was pretty simply and programing wasn't bad.. You can find it on ebay or amazon

This is what I found. The two lower ones are the same. I had to remove the torsion bar to get bolt out. As far as the bushing 13 in the diagram above. I did not replace. Those are torsion track bushigs
Let me know if you figure out the mapping with Arduino I'd be interesting at giving a try as well. For the time being I bought Seat heater switches/ ecm on ebay and use those to control heat and vented seats.. I also have the 17 switch but of course it runs via can bus. I was hopping to convert...
