They make those for the 6.4?

    2022 Camping season...preps...thoughts?

No trips planned quite yet. I really want to book a few places in Florida for a few weeks, but we're hoping to travel as far west as Las Vegas and maybe even California, from Michigan! We did upgrade to a new tow vehicle. We won't have any trouble with our payload anymore!

    Big Truck Big Decision

Do you need it? If you feel it will work for you and your family, I say absolutely. I know for sure my family had outgrown what we had as the payload in my 2500 (PW) was 1,449lbs! With that said, my current 3500 Mega Cab has around 4,100lbs. We won’t go anywhere near that amount with our...

    Big Truck Big Decision

Got my truck this past weekend. I made an update above, before your comment. At this point I decided on the Hemi. If I’m a year or two I feel a diesel is necessary then I’ll upgrade to my final keeper truck. Currently the truck we just got will suit our needs. If I ever decide to go the...

Ordered and paid my deposit on November 8. It arrived at the dealership a few days ago. I’m picking her up tomorrow, January 8.

Nice! When did you order? Where’s the first trip when you get it?

I’ll definitely miss my Power Wagon. It’s a nice riding beast of a truck in its own right. Thanks for the assistance everyone!

    Big Truck Big Decision

So my truck will be here shortly. Within the next two weeks. I ended up getting a 3500 Mega Cab Big horn SRW gasser. It’ll serve the purpose we need for as long as we have it.

Factory Air Suspension vs Airlift Loadlifter 5000

I hope it's the correct info! LOL. Anytime. I ended up going with changing out my current airbags. I figured I'd save the 1700 bucks and just use the current set of airbags for the new truck when it comes in. Thanks for the insight.

Factory Air Suspension vs Airlift Loadlifter 5000

I guess you can't post the link to another forum. Which sucks. The info was from 5thgenRam forum. Here's the main information I saw. "Its your trailer blind spot monitor. It's detecting the length of the trailer connected. The max is 40' (39.5' technically). It automatically detects the...

Factory Air Suspension vs Airlift Loadlifter 5000

Hopefully this link helps. Seems like it depends on the length/size of your trailer. Check this out...

Factory Air Suspension vs Airlift Loadlifter 5000

Thanks for all of this information. Seems like it's a pretty good system for making everything easier as far as hooking up, which is a plus for now, with our travel trailer, as well as when we eventually get into a 5th wheel.

Factory Air Suspension vs Airlift Loadlifter 5000

Thanks for that info. Yeah, since the 2500s are coil, I can see why the range would be greater on versus the 3500's leaf springs. What type of flexibility do you have with the factory system? Can you increase and decrease on the fly, or is it all automatic? I don't know anyone with a truck...

Factory Air Suspension vs Airlift Loadlifter 5000

What's up folks! So I'm finally upgrading to a 3500 SRW from my 2500PW. Currently I have a set of Airlift Loadlifter 5000 bags with schrader valves tapped into my bumper. This is mainly for anyone who has been in similar situations, or have used either or both options and have real world...

    Factory Air Suspension

Nope, it just helps with bringing the 2500 back up to level so you have your front end in the right position for towing.

    Big Truck Big Decision

Payload is the worry. I don’t know too many people who really enjoy stopping every 250 miles. To each his/her own. All good though. Thanks.

    Big Truck Big Decision

Have you read what we’ve been discussing? Doesn’t seem like it based on your comments. 50 gallon tank isn’t available with a shortbed (not interested in an 8ft bed or dually)with a HEMI. It’s available aftermarket for the Cummins. My PW has a low payload number, that’s what the upgrade is...

    Big Truck Big Decision

Thanks. I don’t regret towing with my current PW, just hate the mandatory 250 mile stops for gas while hooked up. If I could get at least 400 miles behind the wheel towing between fill ups, that would be awesome. We are heading west next year with the trailer. I can’t wait, regardless of...

AHH, got it. Thanks for that clarity. Ahh, got it. Makes total sense why there’s only a few hundred bucks difference with all the same options. Thanks for that clarity.

    Big Truck Big Decision

Not following. Where does the much higher payload come from in the 3500, if it has the same axle as the 2500? I'm only talking about and considering SRW, and this is the case.

    Big Truck Big Decision

Oh, absolutely. I have three girls, oldest is in 6th, middle is in 4th, and youngest is in 1st. My dog is 6 years old and around 65lbs. The girls aren't going anywhere fast and even when they do, I'll likely downgrade or upgrade trucks (however people like to think of it), but not ever going...
