    You were right that filter wasn’t pressing the check valve it was too deep for the new one in and started right up hasn’t died and revs up thanks so much.

    Tooo filter off new filter is about 1/4 to 3/8 of inch deeper than the one I replaced going to get a new see see if that works

    I only hear the hiss when I open the valve on the filter. I will be removing the water separator and check to make sure it is able to reach the check valve like you say. I bought a mopar one on Amazon but I guess it could be knock off I will get this checked out.

    I just changed the water separator and changed trans fluid now truck struggles to start then starts and dies 5 seconds after what could it be I can’t figure it out. If I rev it when it starts it revs but still does shortly after any ideas what could it be

    Fox shocks for upgrade?

    I’ve been looking at getting some fox 2.0 for my 2500 6.7. What are y’all’s experiences with there shocks do they help smooth out the ride? Are there other preferred shocks?

    Awesome thanks for the tips. I purchased the molar atf +4 I see y’all recommend others what do you think of the molar stuff I’ve heard it should do just fine. Also how often do the nylon threads tend to fail? is that something that could wait for the next trans service maybe?

    Does this gasket seem to be the right one for the 68rfe it doesn’t look like the same shape as the lube locker one. Edit: that is an oil pan gasket I found the trans pan gasket on racing summit site

    I want to change my transmission fluid and filters. I have been doing some searching but i can seem to find the oem filters does anyone know where to get the fluids and the filters online or is there a better filter setup you recommend?
