    2003 4.7 Throwing P0302 Code ADVICE!!

For sure. Depending on your mileage it doesn't hurt to get them sent in and done at a local shop. They come back brand looking. Here in AZ I got them done for 18.00 per injector and had them back same day. I hope yours smooths out. I have heard of crank sensor causing some idle issues but who...

    2003 4.7 Throwing P0302 Code ADVICE!!

Got the injectors back and the one injector was faulty at idle so it was replaced. Everything installed again and truck runs like a top again! Starts instantly and runs smooth, seems to have a little more juice. Hopefully this thread can help someone else looking to solve this code issue.

    2003 4.7 Throwing P0302 Code ADVICE!!

Just an update on this issue. Pulled plugs. The one plug from the bad cylinder for sure was lighter in color and was missing the distinct burn mark the others had. I pulled the injectors and sent them in for be gone through and flushed the fuel rail. I will putting in new plugs and checking the...

    2003 4.7 Throwing P0302 Code ADVICE!!

Thanks for the advice. I am going to pull the plug to and that should tell me something. I keep thinking it is something electrical since it is such a slight miss and so random. I would think if it was a lifter or fuel injector it would be constant I am also going to get my hands on my...

    2003 4.7 Throwing P0302 Code ADVICE!!

Hi Guys, I have a 2003 4.7 2wd. A few months back the truck threw P0302 code. So I thought lets eliminate the obvious first. Checked the plugs and they were nubs! I had no idea this truck had copper plugs and it went 60k on factory plugs. I swapped them out and cleared the code and it was...

    2WD Lift

Then it sounds me like a spacer is not the option for you. The most you will get for an 02 ram is 1.5" which is hardly a lift, more of a level at best. Check out CST website. I had the best luck with them. Also Rough country and I think fabtech offer 6inch lifts if you want to sky it out.

    2WD Lift

Thats a pretty open ended question. If you are comparing a spindle lift with a spacer lift, then on a 2wd, there is no comparison. Only thing a spacer lift does better is save you money. Spacers will reduce the travel in your front suspension. Now it also depends on the year you have. Mine being...

    Leveling Kit

There are a TON of leveling post on here where everybody gives the same advice on a weekly bases. Just scroll down and read through some. Personally I would NOT do a spacer kit on a 2wd. I tried installing a Daystar on my 2wd and it screws the angle of the upper arm and ball joint. Solution...

    2WD Lift

It's basically been said but it just drops the spindle location down which lifts the truck. The great thing is it does not change the factory suspension or geometry. If you run the spindle lift and combine it with the CST upper for extended travel and strength you would be more then set for...

    2WD Lift

One of the best lifts out there for 2wd dodge ram is the CST Spindle lift. 4" and 6" I believe, I know 4" for sure. Keeps factory ride, direct bolt on, no brake line extenders or new shocks. BUT and this is important, IF you do a spindle lift DO NOT GO ON EBAY FOR THE CHINA MADE CRAP. Spend the...

    Trouble with plastidip on bumpers

I did my front and rear bumpers. Big key is just use rubbing alcohol like mentioned above to clean them and if you mask off the lights, which I suggest, you need to peel them before the dip dries. It's the opposite rules as paint. So lay a thicker layer around the light right off the bat and...

    blisteins vs leveling blocks

I am assuming you meant to post this in the 4th gen lifted section but I would say the Bilsteins are a nice was to go. You can simply adjust them down and you don't have to worry about some spacer stuck above your coil. It is the way I would go, but as with any spacer style lift you will be...

    Need your help with this

I have been looking everywhere for a spindle lift for my 2003 2wd 4.7 1500 ram. I found CST and would go with them except they say you can't run more then 4.75 back space and my KMC wheels are 5.00. So I came across chasis tech 3" lift spindles, no back space required. But they are WAY cheaper...

Tail Covers - Yes or No?

I am honestly digging the factory lights! Either way you can't go wrong but that truck is so clean to begin with sometimes less is more. Looks super clean with the factory tails.

Tail Covers - Yes or No?

I've never been a fan of tinting the lens. If anything I would say black housing with clear lens. People drive stupid as it is and it would suck to get rear ended because the tail light wasn't bright enough. BUT that's just my own person pet peeve I have with them.

Did some plasti dip to my emblems

Yea it is VERY close. Only difference is it is matte finish, but you can purchase a gloss coating through dipyourcar.com if you want. I am going to get mine powder coated when it cools down here in AZ but for 10 bucks they came out great! The biggest thing is make sure you mask off what you...

They Look like Discount Tires brand. I would search them because they don't have bolts along the outside.

Did some plasti dip to my emblems

Use a tooth pic to get the centers of the letters out. This stuff works great. I plasti dipped my front and rear bumpers white to match my truck and I haven't been disappointed yet!
