    Well that’s disappointing

E-torque, MDS, and start/stop would get you even better. All of this technology is to reduce idle time and assist in the first second or two of acceleration off the line where the most fuel is used. The rest of the time enjoy the smooth shifts you get.

    Well that’s disappointing

I look forward to the day I can leave my windows open at a stoplight when stinky old diesel is running near me. Start/stop should be on every vehicle.

    Well that’s disappointing

Agreed, but the real savings in fuel are only when stopped and the engine isn’t running and during the first second or two of acceleration. E-torque has 130 ft-lbs (?) of torque as soon as you step on the accelerator all from the mild hybrid and it launches the truck from standstill. I saw a...

    Well that’s disappointing

I have had no issues to this point with my ‘22 5.7 E-torque. Now I’m only a few months and about 25,000 miles in so I shouldn’t. Gas mileage is excellent when empty and using a s a commuter and obviously worse when I have it doing what it should…working. But it performs really well and being the...

Frustrated with Dealership - What’s Yours?

Business is business…they wanted to sell you at a certain rate, you walked and got what you wanted. There’s NO reason why you should feel guilty at all. No matter what the sales rep says. He’s pissed he’s not making a massive commission without doing more work OR worse, someone else at the...

    Camera issues -2022 Longhorn

Not yet, I was considering taking it back to the dealership. The screen is doing some odd “blinking” when I turn the wipers on and off now so I’d rather not toy with it myself while under warranty.

    Camera issues -2022 Longhorn

2022 Longhorn with 22k, approx 13,000 mi. Love it but recently lost my Surround Camera and my backup cam isn’t giving me the guiding lines. The lines aren’t a huge deal however I do find them nice to have. And seeing I’m supposed to have them of course I want them. The bigger deal is the...

New Longhorn & looking for tonneau

I just had a look at Walmart Canada, which is where I am, and they obviously special order and import right from the US. The lowest cost one was about $1500 Canadian. I can actually pick up a pretty decent one for about 1100 Canadian. I appreciate the advice though! I saw some brand names that...

New Longhorn & looking for tonneau

I’m enjoying it now, and I think that’ll be the same throughout my time with it. It’s so comfortable, I really love it. I haven’t had a pickup truck as a daily driver in literally 25 years. I thought this would be a nice way to “ease back in”

New Longhorn & looking for tonneau

Just got a 2022 Longhorn, going from car to truck. Bought through my company as we’re going to use it for occasional pickups and deliveries. So far I’m loving it, only one small warranty issue: it needed a tailgate latch replaced. No big deal. I do need a tonneau cover. Looking for a hardtop...
