Looks like there are a lot of posts and questions about this. I had the light come on and did a mess of Googling and just wanted to post that before you do anything expensive, check the battery output. May be old news to the vets on here, but it turns out you can get that light to come on if...
Thanks for the replies.
Can you adjust the actual seating of the bulb? I thought those were fixed in place. I was going to take the headlight out to see but it's a bit involved so just wanted to see if this was a common problem first.
Yes, they were probably not OEM but more likely aftermarket...
2014 1500 Laramie. It was in a front end wreck and salvaged by my auto body buddy. He installed new headlights but they’ve never been quite right. It’s easier to see the issue when moving, so have attached a video. High beams look fine. Any idea what would cause this blizarre pattern?
Bumping this. Same issue. As with some previous posters, problem started in the cold weather. Just now ordered AlfaOBD to try to figure out what's going on. Not seeing any obvious issues when driving, though.
2014 1500 Laramie. Heated steering wheel works fine and cooled front seats also fine, but no heated seats. Fuses are all fine.
I thought the controller does the steering wheel as well as the seats, so I'm guessing it's not that? Any ideas or how to Dx?
Got this one sorted finally. Replaced the multi function switch and it's working fine. It apparently defaults to the auto dim feature which had me going at first until I realized that you leave the stalk pushed forward if you want that active. Tried it out but it's not great. Live in a rural...
So finally resolved this. I wasn't aware that the remote start wouldn't work if the check engine light was on. Just replaced the ambient temp sensor ($11 at the dealer), light went out, remote start working fine now.
hey thanks for the suggestions, folks. sorry - have been away for a bit. I still haven't resolved it because i just haven't had the time to get to it. I may end up putting one in the middle of the rear window at the top so i don't have to remove the headrests, and one on the passenger side of...
Posted this in electronics but seems it was in the wrong place, so posting here. Sorry for cross posting.

Bought a used '14 1500 Laramie that had been in a front ender. Rear windows work fine but fronts don't always work from driver or pass sides. My friend is a service writer at a dealer...
Thanks. It does have a code from the ambient temp sensor. Added an aftermarket mirror and it's throwing that code. Says it's 185° F outside all the time. Maybe that's the issue.
2014 1500 Laramie. Remote start starts but only stays on for about 30s. I walked up to it recently and saw an announcement on the dash that said something like Remote Start Malfunction or something like that. Any ideas?
Local PD is the county sheriff which is ~30 miles away! But good idea. I know they drive Ford SUVs but will look at surrounding departments to see if someone else has them on a Ram or other crew cab. The one guy in our department who drives a Ram just retired and he had one unit mounted in front...
Thanks. Thought of that but I'm trying to see if I can reuse the ones I have and I'd also prefer not to put anything on the roof. It's left outside under a tree...

I'm a volunteer firefighter in a small town. Just acquired my first Ram 1500 crew cab. I have some LEDs on the grille and interior LEDs on the rear deck of my VW Passat daily driver that I'd like to move over to the pickup. Grille lights should be fine but there's no obvious place to mount...
thanks for the welcome, folks. here's the before and after.
EDIT: actually, that's about halfway through. when we got it, no bumper, condenser, radiator, etc.
