Those who have swapped out 20" tires for towing

The factory tires have a very thin sidewall that is prone to flexing. If the trailer has a tiny bit of sway in it, it will transfer that sway into the tire making it worse, the truck begins to sway back and forth on the tires, causing the trailer to sway even more. it's a domino effect.

    35/12.50/20 vs 275/65/20?

    296/65 R20 comes out to about a 35.5 x 11.5 tire and will fit on a 20X8 inch rim. They are a bit more expensive than a 35 x 12.50 x 20 though.

How is your Zone 6in lift holding up.

I did not coat anything at install, however this summer I climbed under the truck with a scotch bright pad and scuffed the frame, rears and suspension and sprayed it down with cans of bed liner. there was no rust on the zone parts before I did that, it was about 2 months after the install. My...

How is your Zone 6in lift holding up.

The Zone and BDS are almost identical lifts. They use the same parts except for longer brake lines vs. relocation brackets and the front cross members are a bit different for more ground clearance. Heck the manual uses the same pictures and instructions for 95% of it.

How is your Zone 6in lift holding up.

Loaded is about 6500, I use it for work so I travel heavy, live in it for months at a time. The air bags are great, Boss Air Bags makes a kit for lifted Rams. I paid about $325 for them back in April. The ones you insert into the coil springs will not work, the coils on the Zone springs are a...

    Heated seats

They are not "pre-wired" but the Mopar kit plugs directly into the power port in either your dash or center console. You have to cut a small slot in the dash or center console to mount the small push button. It is a lot of work, you have to remove the seat covers and hog ring them back on...

Help!!! Need guidance on how to switch from a 3:92 to 3:55 for my 2015 ram 1500

Where are you located? I am sure most of us with 3.55 would swap axles with you. That would be the quick way to do it.

    Trailer brake controller

I just had mine installed at a dealer with the computer flash for $332. The part is about 230 and about 100 labor. Install would be pretty easy to do yourself but you still have to take it to the dealer to have the computer flashed.
