    Anyone have pictures of the Laramie polished 20's on their sport? I'm not the biggest fan of chrome clad 20's so I was thinking of switching to the Laramie polished 20's. I'm not really a black wheel fan either so I think the polished/painted Laramie wheels would fit the bill the best...

    New frame

    With trucks being so expensive these days frame replacement is quit common if your truck is relatively new. It's not hard just everything on the chassis has to be swapped over and remounted to the new frame and remounted to the body so you just want a good body shop doing the work.

    Ford is copying Ram

    I'm not a fan of the front end on the new Ford. It now has an oval grill very similar to our 5th gen Ram's but rectangular vertical headlights stuck to the ends, it does not mesh well to me. I don't think it looks like a GMC, the GMC has a much bigger grill and squared off front end.

    Test Drove a 2019 Laramie Today. Is This Stock?

    Mine feels about the same as my 2014 height wise, they did go to a smaller 32" tire instead of the 33" tires which may be where the difference is. If you want it to be higher you can get the offroad package option for an extra 1" or the Rebel which is 2" taller I believe as it has bigger tires.

    Fuel Tank Size

    you have a 33 gallon tank if you can pump in 26 gallons with 40 miles left. I have a 26 gallon and I ran it down to 30 miles range left the other day and it took 23 gallons. I've read a lot of posts that Rams 33 gallon tank and this is a common complaint that the light comes on to soon.

    ROCK CHIPS

    I'm at 20k and I Have I don't have any rock chips in that location since i have the step bars as they block the rocks. I do have PPF on my front bumper/facia and front of the hood.

    no noticable jolt, restart is flawless. Only time you may notice if the engine has to restart while still sitting at the stop light to keep the ac going you may feel yourself having to push down farther on the brake to keep from inching forward.

    Yea I had two 2wd trucks here in Ohio and never had an issue and I got full trade in value when I traded them, people snatch them up as they are cheaper to own and operate. That said my last two trucks have been 4wd.

    Ram raised the height of the bed sides on the new trucks which made it harder for people to reach over the bed sides to get stuff out, they compensated by putting on shorter tires. That said I prefer the larger tires regardless, they just look small on these trucks.

    On the 4th gen or Ram classic yes wheelbases are the same. On 5th gen trucks they lengthened the cab on the crew cab but not the cab on the quad cab so the quad cab stayed the same but crew cabs grew in length. Quad cab is 228.9" and Crew Cab is 232.9"...

    anti-spin or elect lock

    Limited slip is great for general everyday driving and lockers are great for offroading. Depends what you want to do with the truck. If you don't do any serious offroading get the limited slip as it's always engaged and you don't have to activate it every time you need it.

    Getting Snow Off Without Harming Paint

    Snow brush is fine, I just don't touch the paint with it, hold it about a 1/2 inch higher then the paint, the little that is left can blow or melt off.

    The Sports used to have a more aggressive exhaust but I don't think that is the case on the 5th gens and possibly later years of the 4th gens. I don't recall my 2014 sport being any extra aggressive and certainly not my 2019.

    2020 1500 eTorque with terrible MPG

    On my 2019 etorque I started off getting 15 MPG and it went up to 17 MPG after about 5K and it is about 1 mpg lower in winter. I too never saw any difference on past vehicles after break in but this one seems to have improved.

    Why buy running boards

    I have them as I have passengers that need them at times. They also block the rocks from hitting the doors and help with door dings.
