Will 275 65 20 fit on a 2019 bighorn with stock suspension? The 2019 came with 275 55 20 and they are 2 inch smaller than the 65. Will they fit without rubbing at all? I had a 2015 and it had 275 60 20. I dont know why the 2019 is smaller.

Yes they will fit and it will not rub the upper control arms. I have put 275/65/20's on plenty of my customers trucks.

Ram raised the height of the bed sides on the new trucks which made it harder for people to reach over the bed sides to get stuff out, they compensated by putting on shorter tires. That said I prefer the larger tires regardless, they just look small on these trucks.

I know this post is over a year old but I really appreciate it.

I would have never thought of this as a reason for the shorter tires.

It also got me to thinking about how am I going to get into the back of my truck easily when I buy taller new tires.

Thanks!

also Ford and Chevy use the 275 55r20 on the half tons just a guess but I bet research has something to do with fuel economy and they probably saved a few bucks each with it being a more widely more used tire.

Quick Question, looking to go to 275 65 20 on my 4th gen and glad to know they fit. Do you how I would update my speedometer to read accurately with the larger tire?

The easiest way to set the pinion factor is to visit your local dealership and have them do it. The way Witech is set up now the dealers can only program stock tire sizes. FCA changed it to where we can no longer adjust for the larger or smaller sizes unless it is a stock size in the list.

There are also plenty of tuners out there that allow you to adjust tire size but a trip to the local dealer is by far cheaper and faster for the stock sizes.
