Head gasket replacement
So finaly got my exhaust bolts in and started putting everything back together ! Thanks a bunch for thé torque specs thé were very handy !!! Both heads are back in and torqued properly will be putting thé rest back on soon ! Noticed i will have to mâle myself a new head to body ground as my...- 935

Head gasket replacement
I dont know exactly why thé head gasket went bad but had both heads leak tested and everything is perfect! 1 intake valve wasent seating properly so had that fixed and took 5/1000th of to havé a clean and level surface for thé new gaskets !! Almost all my parts are in so will be re-assembling...- 935

Quick update on my progress im about 6.5 jours on and just finished removing thé heads ! Pretty straightforward job just takes some Time getting there ! Heads are at thé shop im picking them up later today thé are not cracked just a bad intake valve ! So just waiting on my exhaust bolts to...- 935

Sorry for thé delay just got my truck back! So the rh side head gasket is toast ! Cylinder 4 is full of coolant.... well decided to bite the bullet and doing this thing myself! Got a gasket set from California for 175CAD wich is a bit better than the 750$ thé dealer wanted!! I already had...- 935

Well, got the truck back 475$ less in my pockets but at least the problem is solved !! seems the main harness that is straped to the frame on the driver side was hit in the accident... about half a dozen wires where busted ! Now everything is like new !- 935
