Thank you! I'll do more digging but it's hard to find the impedance on the kickers. Saw a full set (front, rear and dash) that came out of an srt8 on ebay for around $200 shipped, but unsure of the 6x9 ohms. Drop in a 4 ohm and power cut in half.
Shopping for my dad's 04 ram quad cab with infinity system. He blew a 6x9 ang wants to replace all doors. Budget is under $200. Front are 6x9 2 ohm and only give low range. I think we can get 6.5 coax in the rear but im not sure the impedance. Not interested in headunit change or adding subs and...
Maestro capable headunit is helpful to retain functions. Oddly enough there's a pioneer avh x4700bs and maestro in the for sale section right now. Im sure he'll give you a deal on both pieces. ;)
I've got a few tracks on vinyl that i know bounce bass from left to right. I found this by accident after recording the vinyl to wav in mono. It was very strange to hear a song without the other channel. I was used to hearing the song standing between some large PA speakers that filled the space...
I've got a used Audison Bit Ten D with remote for sale in 32164. Asking $300 for it shipped anywhere in the lower 48. It works perfectly, "upgraded" to an Audiocontrol DM-810. Honestly like the Bit better. Its far easier to navigate and set up. No dead or burnt pixels on the remote. Comes with...
I totally respect and support that. I don't want you to have high expectations for low end response and be disappointed. I suspect the factory deck has a really sharp crossover at 30hz and you may not hear or feel rather the full potential of that sub.
Another option if you want to eliminate a weak point in your system... get a portable hi res player with toslink out and send it to the audiocontrol when you get it. I've got an ibasso dx80 that puts out a very flat signal. I doubt the stock head can do that. I do realize the dm810 has rta and...
I wouldn't touch the rears. Spend your money on front stage, sub and amp/processor. Audiocontrol makes a 6 channel amp with dsp. Three way components up front because you have the room to do it.
I would like to add to Tom's posts that audison bit ten and bit one can take high level inputs, sum channels and output more channels than given. The bit ten d unfortunately puts out 3.8v before clipping. The bit one hd claims 5v i believe. Helix gets up towards 8v. The bit ten used for $200 is...
To get wires from the cab to the driver's door, i had to take off the leather looking cover, unbolt the ebrake, run a wire hanger carefully from the door wires through the grommet to the cab. I had to take the wire cover off on the door side to access it enough.
