Looking at those Terra Grapplers, the price is right and I'm reading good things about them~ Thanks~

Help a girl out with tire question~

I've been looking at quotes for the Cooper Discoverer ATP - about $857 installed w/tax. I've read some reviews complaining about "wandering" but most seem positive.

Help a girl out with tire question~

I don't recall which Michelin's at the moment but they wore horribly. All in all, I didn't think they were worth the $$. Not that I'm a tire expert, but the "house brand" were prominently displayed and seemed to be the "go to" tire for everyone coming in the door. It seemed to be more about...

Help a girl out with tire question~

That's similar to how I got my Ram - some jerk coming off the mountain didn't clean his windsheild and ran into me at 50mph when I was parked on the shoulder (It was -11 and my water pump froze).

Help a girl out with tire question~

Actually, neither - I'm looking for an improvement in rain/ice/snow traction. I never get more than 30-40K miles in this region, as the tire will dry rot before it gets to it's top mileage warranty. I'm trying to stay in the $800-$900 range.

Help a girl out with tire question~

Hey - Merry Christmas, all, I have a 2015, 1500 Big Horn, 20" wheels, and it came with Goodyear 275/60s which I've not been impressed with at all. Never liked how they handled in the rain. Went to get a flat repaired at our local Tire shop and asked about a decent all-season, good in rain...

    Python vs. Viper Smart Start

Thanks for all the great feedback. The tech geek in me loves the idea of a smartphone interface. And I'd want a deterrent whether it be an alarm (which originally being from Brooklyn, nobody pays attention to. So I'm looking for peace of mind and a state of the art solution. Sent from my...

    Python vs. Viper Smart Start

I apologize in advance if this has been answered; I've searched the forums and cannot find enough info to move forward. So, after 11 years of having a truck I *never* worried about being stolen, and now having a newer truck for the first time in ages, I'm mildly obsessing about providing...

    Safe bug and tar remover?

I second the fabric softener dryer sheets. Wet in very hot water and the bugs just melted off. Leaves a residue, which washes off easily with a hose down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My new ride!

It was -11 degrees at 8am and my water pump seized. I pulled off onto a very wide shoulder and parked. A guy pulled in front of me and was going to give me and my dog a ride to town so I could call AAA. As I reached back into the truck to get my dog, the guy hit me from behind full on at 45-50...

How to turn Seatbelt Chime off

This forum is awesome! Thank you! I have a very long driveway off rural dirt road, and I always like to pop off the seat belt when I get home - kind of a ritual. I bow to your electronic prowess!

    My new ride!

Not quite unscathed...multiple broken ribs and some wicked bruising, but definitely lucky. If I wasn't in my truck we wouldn't be having this conversation. Which is why I'd never drive anything but a truck again. There are some crazy ass drivers out there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My new ride!

After having a near-miss with eternity when some bozo rammed (yes, pun intended) into me, totaling my F150, I rented a 1500 for a couple of months and completely fell in love. Rams weren't even on my radar. Yesterday my husband and I drove from NM to Amarillo because I found the exact one...

20" wheels have significant impact on ride

Well, we just bought the other 1500 we were looking at and the ride is perfect. Obviously there was something else going on with that other truck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

20" wheels have significant impact on ride

Thanks for your feedback - and you're right. I have a feeling I won't pass on this next truck - and just deal with the tire/wheel issue later (after the running boards, seat covers, camper shell, etc., etc., - the list is getting longer each day). I'm not sorry I walked away from the other...

20" wheels have significant impact on ride

I've been renting a Ram 1500 SLT Hemi 5.7 after my Ford F150 was totaled in a recent accident. I fell in love with the smooth ride and decided I had to have this truck. So far, I've walked away from 2 vehicles. It seems that every one I see has the Big Horn package which comes with 20" wheels...
