    Borla S-Type

I have the same Borla pro xs 40349 on mine and it sounds good. Not overly loud but has a nice growl when you step on it. Sounds good on highway. A touch of drone at around 2000 rpm's, but not bad.

    Door speakers

https://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SS69/Alpine-S-S69.html?tp=105 This is what I put in mine. I used the provided spacer it came with and they fit perfect. They do sound pretty damn good too.

    Fox Box Longevity

Well if you're going to go dual 10's, that's tons of coin for 2 w7's. The thing about those is idk if that enclosure would satisfy those subs. I've read they are picky about what you put them in. Sell that w6 and go with a set of these. Read up on them. Very highly regarded brand and all...

    Fox Box Longevity

Ah. My bad. I guess I saw w7 and mind said w7. idk if the return would be worth it to change subs, but the fox box might help with output.

    Fox Box Longevity

What kind of application are you looking for in a sub? sq or spl?

    Fox Box Longevity

I don't think the w7 will fit in the fox box enclosures. Might have to put a different sub that will match the airspace of them too. Look up some different brands of subs. Especially for the overpriced JL Audio stuff. You can get just as good of a sub that'll work well in those enclosures...

    MUFFLERS

Good to see what everyone else is doing for their exhaust. I think when I get to mine, I'm going the Borla XR-1 route. Love that Borla tone.

    Fox box subs?

Yes, he was. Good to see him making good subs again.

    Fox box subs?

https://ficaraudio.com/product-category/subwoofers/ I would look really hard at these guys. They are some of the most highly regarded subs that are not big box name. And they are handmade in the usa. There's price budgets of all kinds. The Sundowns sa-12's are good from what everyone says...

    foxacoustics / Sub Combos

It's a brand that is proprietary to sonic electronix. I believe it's their brand. If you look at some of their products on their site and read the reviews, I think you'll find a lot of happy people. But, there are a lot more brands out there that are better with good prices. I give advice on...

    foxacoustics / Sub Combos

    foxacoustics / Sub Combos

Ah. It probably didn't sound very good because the air space requirement for that sub is a lot more than the volume of the enclosure. You were choking it to death. And getting tons of port noise from running stuff below the 36 hz tuning frequency. Sealed up, it should be about right. Glad...

    foxacoustics / Sub Combos

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. The sa series has a faraday ring in it for a reason. Most people that see Sundown just hear them banging. Which they are good for that, too. But the sa is a good sub and most of all, the enclosure for it is going to have to do a lot with the...

    foxacoustics / Sub Combos

If you were to go with a 12" single sub and the fox acoustics box, I'd put a Sundown SA12 in it. For the price, you're going to get way more sub than anything JL puts out. If you were to go with a w6, you'd spend a lot more for it, and you'll be getting a sub not as good as the Sundown. For...

Nice work, Ernie. I know once I get to do mine, I get to go through all the headache of taking it all out and putting it all back together. ffs! lol

    Fox aucustics box

For the amount of power that you're going to be putting out on the sub channel, I'd go with this sub. It matches the enclosure pretty well especially after displacement. The tuning is of about 2 hz for best results, but I'm sure it would be hardly noticeable. This vendor is a good dude...

We were referring to the cld that had the ccf adhered to it. You definitely want cld, ccf, and then mlv. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

I hear you. I think Kolossus is good stuff, but I'd be willing to try some of the other stuff as long as the price is right and the reviews are good. I did look at the MLV on Amazon and I agree that that would be the way to go. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    SILENCE!

I believe its attached to the cold from murdermat. For the cost, I figured its extra resonance killer. It could he good or be bad. I guess it depends on ones goals and budget. I like the idea, but the more I think of it, idk. I think straight cld with the ccf separate for the doors is the...

Murdermat changed ownership. They couldn't find any to test. Crescendo audio owns it now. They make some good stuff. I like the fact that murdermat has ccf included in their sheets. Just means less money I'll have to spend on cld and ccf. Lol Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
